the volunteers to serve a hot
turkey sandw ich, m ashed
potatoes, m ixed vegetables,
fruit cup and pumpkin cake on
Wednesday noon, June 25, at
St. Patrick’s Sr. Center. The
last Wednesday o f each month
is selected to honor all who
have birthdays during the
month. It’s a time for singing,
laughter, and general good will.
Every one is invited to join the
frivolity - especially if you are
a June birthday person.

H eppner football field

The football field at the Morrow County Fairgrounds
has been reseeded and is ready to go this fall. Dam aged by
rain during the St. Patrick’s weekend, sprinklers were installed
and the field was reseeded with bluegrass by a group o f
volunteers.
Those instrumental in the field renovation, by donating
tim e, equipm ent, cash or supplies, included K elw ayne
Haguewood, JefTCutsforth, Mike Adams, John Boyer, Todd
Lindsay, Wayne Seitz, Brian Thompson, C liff Doherty, Pat
Dougherty, Ken Turner, Ed Struthers, John Kilkenny, MCGG
agronomy dept., Westwinds Nursery and Riverview Seed.
Lewis’s selected June yard of
the month
A kids’ talent show for
those 18 and under will be held
July 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the lone
City Park as a part o f the lone
Fourth of July celebration. Any
type o f talent is welcome and
p riz e s w ill be a w a rd e d .
“Everyone is invited to come
down and enjoy the fun,” said
organizer Lynn Dee Ramos.
