CARD OF THANKS
We all know it’s true and we
read it here almost every week,
but on occasion we’re reminded
firsthand how truly blessed we are
to live here. Now is one of those
times for us.
To Jim and Monica Swanson,
the lone Quick Response Team
and all the good people of lone
who took care of Blake, we offer
many thanks. We know she
couldn’t have been in better
hands. To the Pioneer Memorial
Hospital Ambulance crew (in
cluding Uncle Rusty) and hospi
tal staff, a big thank you for your
great care and concern. Thanks
also to Steve and Jesse Wood
ward and Billy for helping look
for Blake.
To all our family and friends,
we thank you from the bottom of
our hearts for your prayers, cards,
phone calls, flowers, gifts and
visits. This Thanksgiving will in
deed be a special one for us.
Thanks again.
David, Patti, Blake,
and Aaron Allstott

I would like to thank all of the
people whose thoughts were with
me on Nov. 4. There were so
many people who sent flowers,
cards and called to show they
care. Thank you everyone who
prayed for a safe surgery and
speedy recovery and are continu
ing to pray. All of the things you
did were so thoughtful and made
these tough times easier.
1 want to give a special thank
you to Heppner High School for
all of the cards, banners and flow
ers you sent. Thank you, Mr.
Flaherty, for the surprise good
luck party you organized for me
before 1 left. It was a great boost
for me.
The recovery is going well, but
it is still nice to know I have
friends and family thinking of me.
1 appreciate it more than you re
alize. It’s the little things that
people do to make a town a com
munity. 1 will be back in school
after Thanksgiving. See you then!
