10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Octo­
ber 2 ,2 0 0 2 , at the Morrow Coun­
ty Courthouse, 100 Court Street,
Heppner, Oregon to hear public
comment upon the issue of an­
nexation of territory into the Hep­
pner Rural Fire Protection Dis­
trict. The territory proposed to
be annexed is South and West of
the present district boundaries
and takes in approxim ately
50,000 acres. The purpose of the
annexation is to provide the ser­
vices of the district to the prop­
erty of the petitioners. The legal
