The Morrow County Com
mission on Children & Families
is seeking mini grant proposals.
Mini grant funds are available for
anticipated yet unidentified com
munity needs and to leverage oth
er funds and resources into ser
vices, advocacy and unique
projects for the children, youth
and families of Morrow County.
There is approxim ately $450
available at this time. The funds
can also be used to augment or
improve child care resources in
Morrow county. Grant requests
may be from $ 100 to $450. Ex
amples of reasonable Mini Grant
Fund requests include, but are not
lim ited to: seasonal program
needs; small capital expenditures
(except for private property); ser
vice program staff training; one
time events and pilot projects.
Child care development projects
may be purchase of equipment,
other than capital outlay, or train
ing for day care providers. All
proposals must fall within CCF
guidelines/goals of supporting
Strong N urturing F am ilies,
H ealthy T hriving C hildren,
Healthy Thriving Youth, or Car
ing Communities. The deadline
for these proposals is Thursday,
August 29,2002. Proposals must
be in the Commission office by
5 p.m. Thurs., August 29. The
proposals will be awarded during
