The Morrow County Sheriff’s
Office (MCSO) reports handling
the following business:
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in Heppner of a pos­
sible house on fire in Heppner. It
was determined all was okay; it
was a controlled bum.
-MCSO, ODOT received a
report from a caller near
Stockdrive Road that her vehicle
slid off due to icy conditions and
she couldn’t get going again.
-MCSO, ODOT, Heppner
Fire Dept., Heppner Ambulance
received a report from the previ­
ous caller that a vehicle had just
slid into another vehicle. It was a
non-injury accident.
-Boardman Police Dept, of­
ficer cited Keith Alan Collins, 23,
for No Operator’s License and
Failure to Register.
-MCSO, ODOT received a
report from a caller that her vehi­
cle and another vehicle were stuck
on the side of the road due to icy
conditions.
March 21: MCSO received
a report from a caller in Irrigon
that his neighbor’s 10 dogs were
out and were very aggressive.
-Boardman Police Dept, of­
ficer cited Anjanette Marie Jones,
23, for Careless Driving.
-MCSO received a report of
a cattle truck being operated in
an unsafe manner. The driver
was stopped and warned.
-MCSO received a request
for deputy contact regarding a
possible assault/juvenile problem.
-MCSO, Oregon State Police
received a report of a vehicle on
1-84 going 80+ mph in and weav­
ing all over the road.
-Boardman Police Dept, of­
ficers arrested Noe Sanchez-
Salas, 20, on a Umatilla County
warrant for Failure to Appear/
Assault III. He was lodged at the
Umatilla County Jail with $10,000
bail.
-Heppner Police Dept, re­
ceived a request for officer con­
tact regarding a damaged trailer.
-Heppner Police Dept, re­
ceived an abandoned 911 call. An
officer was unable to locate any­
one.

-MCSO deputy arrested Vic­
tor Gonzales, 42, on a Umatilla
County warrant for Failure to
Appear/Harassment. He was
lodged at the Umatilla County Jail
with $5,000 bail.
-MCSO deputy cited Torrez
Julian Carrillo, 21, for Violation of
the Basic Rule, 52 mph in a 35
mph zone.
-MCSO deputy cited Evelina
Medley, 56, for Violation of the
Basic Rule, 55 mph in a 35 mph
zone.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in Hermiston of a
speeding vehicle almost hitting a
child. The caller knew where the
owner of the vehicle lives.
-MCSO, Irrigon ambulance
received a request for an ambu­
lance for a 61-year-old female
who had fallen and was possibly
choking and having a seizure. The
patient was transported to Good
Shepherd Medical Center in
Hermiston.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in Irrigon of two ju­
veniles throwing rocks at the res­
idence. A deputy was unable to
locate the juveniles.
-MCSO, Boardman Police
Dept, received a report from a
caller in Boardman of a car in her
yard that possibly hit a tree.
-MCSO, Boardman Police
and Fire Depts., Boardman Am­
bulance received another report
of a motor vehicle accident in
which the vehicle hit a tree. One
female patient was transported to
Good Shepherd Medical Center
in Hermiston. A gas leakage was
also later reported.
-MCSO received a request
for deputy contact regarding dogs
chasing cattle.
-MCSO received a report of
one-vehicle rollover on Highway
74 by Lena. No medical attention
was needed and the vehicle was
off the road.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in Irrigon that a male
subject threatened him and the
subject told him he would return
later to carry out the threat.
-MCSO received a report
from The Dalles Police Dept, that
Challis Craig Noble, 23, was ar­
rested on a Morrow County Cir­
cuit Court warrant on DA’s infor­
mation for DUII/Driving while
License Suspended and Harass­
ment. He was lodged at
NORCOR with $10,000 bail.
March 22: MCSO received
a report from a MCSO deputy of
suspicious activity at Green Acres
Mobile Park in Irrigon.
-MCSO deputy arrested
Daniel Dewayne Brasel, 39, on a
Morrow County Circuit Court
warrant for Failure to Appear/
Forgery I and Theft II. He was
lodged at the Umatilla County Jail,
bail $20,000.
-MCSO, Oregon State Police
received a report from a caller in
Irrigon that people wearing black-
hooded sweatshirts were throw­
ing rocks at her house. Four sub­
jects fled on foot.
-MCSO, Boardman Police
Dept, received a report from a
caller in Boardman that there
were police cars shining spotlights
in the area. The caller wanted to
determine if there was something
happening that he should be
aware of. A Boardman Police
Dept, officer contacted the call­
er and explained what was going
on.
-MCSO, Boardman Police
Dept, received a report from a
caller in Boardman that his vehi­
cle was stolen. The vehicle was
reported to have an empty fuel
tank, no keys and rust on the low­
er panels. The vehicle was last
seen on Wilson Road and was
being driven by an unidentified
male driver.
-MCSO, Boardman Police
Dept, received a request for an
officer from a caller in Boardman
who said the apartment manager
was harassing her while she was
trying to move.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in Heppner that a
tri-colored female terrier wearing
a crotched sweater was found.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in Irrigon that his
neighbor spins out his vehicle tires
every day.
-MCSO, Heppner Police
Dept, received a report from a
caller in Heppner that someone
hit his garage with their vehicle.
Bonney Hill was cited for Care­
less Driving with a Motor Vehi­
cle Accident.
-MCSO received a report
from Baker Oregon State Police
that Christopher Michael Lyons,
29, was arrested on a Morrow
County Circuit Court warrant for
Failure to Appear, bail $20,000;
DUII, bail $ 10,000; Driving while
License Suspended Misdemean­
or, bail $10,000; Giving False In­
formation, bail $10,000; Driving
while License Suspended Misde­
meanor, bail $ 10,000; Possession
of a Controlled Substance, bail
$20,000; and on UCSO and
Umatilla County Parole and Pro­
bation warrants. He was lodged
at the Union County Jail.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in Irrigon that seven
dogs were killing other animals.
The caller didn’t know who the
dogs belong to.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in Irrigon that a fe­
male subject with a no-contact
order against her keeps driving
past the caller’s residence.
-MCSO received a request
for deputy contact from DHS re­
garding a possible child removal.
-MCSO received a report of
an illegal bum in Irrigon.
-MCSO received a report of
a possibly abandoned vehicle on
Highway 730. Officer found that
there were occupants in the ve­
hicle and they were sleeping.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in Irrigon about an
argument with her soon-to-be ex-
husband regarding the children.
About a half-hour later, the hus­
band called to report the same is­
sue.
-MCSO received a relayed
report from Boardman about a
possible runaway. The subject
returned to the residence.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in Irrigon about a
juvenile trespassing on the caller’s
property and advised the same
individual was involved in crimi­
nal mischief the previous night.
M arch 23: MCSO deputy
reported a window broken out on
the east side of the motel behind
Bakes Restaurant.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in Lexington that a
male subject assaulted her a few
days ago.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller that she went to her
ex-husband's residence yester­
day in Irrigon where a confronta­
tion occurred and he threatened
to run over her son's bike.
-MCSO, Oregon State Police
received a report of a Ford pick­
up driving erratically on 1-84 east-
bound.
-MCSO. Boardman Police
Dept, received a report from a
caller in Boardman that her vehi­
cle was missing. It was possibly
repossessed.
-MCSO received a request
from Oregon Trail Internet for a

contact person at the Morrow
County Courthouse to make re­
pairs.
-MCSO received a report
from Irrigon of a stolen check
from the caller’s mailbox.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller that his cabin at
Cutsforth Park was broken into
and trashed.
-MCSO deputy reported that
subjects threw bottles around the
Irrigon Market.
-MCSO, Boardman Police
Dept, officers cited Donita L.
Yelinek, 43, for DUII, Driving
while License Suspended Infrac­
tion, No Insurance and was also
arrested on three Klamath Falls
warrant for Resisting Arrest,
DUII, Failure to Appear II, Fail­
ure to Appear. The vehicle was
impounded. Yelinek was lodged at
the Umatilla County Jail, bail
$ 20 , 000 .
-MCSO received a report
from Potlatch Security of a sus­
picious vehicle parked in the
trees.
March 24: MCSO received
a report from a caller in Irrigon
that his wife was overdue from
Portland. The subject returned
home.
-MCSO deputies cited Lela
Carole Merrill, 54, for DUII. The
BAC was refused. The vehicle
was impounded.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in Irrigon that a dog
had bitten her. The dog’s owner
advised they would assist with
medical assistance as the dog had
no vaccines.
-MCSO, Boardman Police
Dept., Boardman ambulance re­
ceived a request for an ambulance
from a caller in Boardman for a
75-year-old woman who was on
the floor, had trouble breathing
and believed her lungs were fill­
ing with fluid. The patient was
transported to Good Shepherd
Medical Center in Hermiston.
-MCSO, Boardman Police
Dept, received a request for an
officer in Boardman for a vehicle
that had been tagged to tow, but
hadn’t been yet. The vehicle was
towed.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in Boardman of a
three-day old calf missing. There
were no signs of it and there was
no carcass.
-MCSO, Oregon State Police,
Boardman Police Dept, received
a report from a caller in Boardman
of an unknown vehicle at the back
of the residence the caller is car­
ing for. It was renters the owner
didn’t advise the caller about.
-MCSO, Oregon State Police
received a report of a vehicle
weaving on the road.
-MCSO received a report of
a possible stolen vehicle located
on Tower Road. The vehicle was
stripped.
-MCSO received a report of
a possible abandoned vehicle.
-MCSO received a report
from Hillsboro Police Dept, that
Freeman J. Summers was arrest­
ed on a Morrow County Justice
Court warrant for Failure to Ap-
pear/Driving while License Sus­
pended, bail $6,000. Summers
was lodged at the Washington
County Jail but was released on
recognizance due to overcrowd­
ing.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in Irrigon that a go-
cart was found in a field. The
owners were contacted.
-MCSO, Irrigon Fire Dept,
received a report of an illegal bum
in Irrigon.
-MCSO, Oregon State Police
received a report from Hermiston
Police Dept, that a possible DUII
was enroute from Hermiston to
Irrigon.
-MCSO, Boardman Police
Dept, received a request for an
officer contact from a caller in
Boardman regarding loud music
coming from a nearby apartment.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in Boardman that her
neighbor's pit bull was in her
backy ard again.
-MCSO, Boardman Police
Dept, received a request for an
officer contact regarding the call­
er's ex-husband having her
daughter.
-MCSO received a report of
an audible alarm at H uwe’s
Washboard. It was determined it
was an employee; all was okay.

Dept, officers arrested Diana
Hernandez, 34, on a Gilliam
County warrant for Failure to
Appear/Possession of a Con­
trolled Substance Schedule II, and
local charges of Escape III and
Resisting Arrest. She was lodged
at the Umatilla County Jail.
March 25: MCSO. Or­
egon State Police received a re­
port of a possible DUII or a fa­
tigued driver on 1-84 westbound.
-MCSO received a re­
port from a caller at Western Al­
falfa in Boardman that someone
kicked in the door of a shed and
took a cutter and a case of oil.
-MCSO, Heppner Fire
Dept, received a report from a
caller in Heppner that his con­
trolled fire was out of control.
-MCSO received a re­
port from a caller in lone that her
house was vandalized.
-MCSO received a re­
quest for a deputy contact in
Irrigon regarding a restraining or­
der served that gives the caller vis­
itation rights to his son and di­
vorce papers, but his wife left to
an unknown location.
-MCSO received a re­
port from a caller in Boardman
of two yearling calves found at
the caller’s residence.
-MCSO, Boardman Po­
lice Dept, received a report from
a caller in Boardman of an aban­
doned vehicle, possibly stolen,
near the golf course.
-MCSO received a re­
port from a caller that her neigh­
bor is starving their horse and
pumping sewage on the ground.

Alan Marston, 20, for Failure to
Wear Seatbelt, Failure to Provide
Proof of Insurance.
-MCSO deputy cited
Patrick Lee Gibbs, 34, for Viola­
tion of the Basic Rule, 73 mph in
a 55 mph zone.
-MCSO deputy cited
Phillip Frederick Dahl, 60, for Vi­
olation of the Basic Rule, 78 mph
in a 55 mph zone.
-MCSO received a re­
quest for a deputy contact from a
caller in Heppner who received
information on Internet pornogra­
phy access.
-MCSO received a re­
port from a caller in Irrigon that
someone threw a rock through her
window.
-MCSO received a re­
port from a caller in Irrigon of the
theft of fuel and damage to fuel
tanks.
-MCSO received a re­
port from a caller of a strong odor
of cleaning solvents coming from
a residence. The residence was
searched and nothing was found.
-MCSO, Heppner Police
Dept, received a report of three
kids playing on the dam; they
would not respond when the per­
son tried to get their attention. The
juveniles were given a warning.
-MCSO, Oregon State
Police received a report of a man
drinking beer, throwing the cans
in the garbage then driving off
with a small child in the vehicle
on 1-84 eastbound.
-MCSO received a re­
port from a caller in Boardman
that a calf was found that had
earlier been reported missing.
-MCSO received a re­
port of a vehicle driving erratical­
ly and almost running a truck off
the road on I-84/Port of Morrow
westbound.
-MCSO deputy cited
Travis Paul Bellamy, 18, for Vio­
lation of the Basic Rule, 72 mph
in a 55 mph zone and Failure to
Carry Registration.
-MCSO, Boardman Po­
lice Dept, received a report from
a caller in Boardman of a vehicle
off the road with no lights on, and
another report that the vehicle
was blocking traffic. It was de­
termined the driver was trying to
get the lights working and a tow
truck was on the way.
-MCSO, Boardman Po­
lice Dept, received a report from
a caller in Boardman that he re­
ceived a knock at the door and
found a burning bag. The fire was
put out. The caller requested an
officer contact.
-MCSO received a re­
port of a possible DUII; the vehi­
cle was speeding and weaving.
-MCSO received a re­
port o f a dog barking in
Boardman. A deputy was unable
to locate the barking dog.
-MCSO, Boardman Po­
lice Dept, received a report from
a caller in Boardman that two His­
panic males were looking into
vehicles. Officers were unable to
locate the subjects.
-MCSO received a re­
port from a caller in Irrigon that
she had been receiving harassing
phone calls from a number in
Chicago, IL whom she believed
to be her brother.
March 26: MCSO dep­
uty arrested Stacey Lynn
McCorkle, 30, on Umatilla Coun­
ty warrants for Failure to Appear/
Theft I and Forgery II (x4) and
Hamilton Police Dept, warrants
for Contempt of CourtTheft II.
McCorkle was lodged at the
Umatilla County Jail, bail $30,000.
-MCSO received a re­
port of alarm activation at Les
Schwab Tire Center in Heppner
in the tire change/service bay
area. A subject responded and
found a yellow kitten in the build­
ing. The alarm was reset.
-MCSO, Heppner Fire
Dept, received a report of fire
alarm activation at Heppner Ele­
mentary School. The Heppner
fire chief responded and report­
ed that the building was clear.
The alarm was reset.
-MCSO, Boardman Po­
lice Dept, received a 911 hang­
up call from a Spanish-speaking
female who was distraught. It
was determined all was okay.
-MCSO received a re­
port from a caller in Irrigon that
her sister-in-law’s friend had sto­
len her jewelry and was enroute
to a town in Washington.
-MCSO received a re­
port from a caller in Heppner of
an 89-year-old male having diffi­
culty getting off the floor. The
patient was transported to Pio­
neer Memorial Hospital in
Heppner.
-MCSO received a re­
quest for a background check on
a male subject from Linn County
Sheriffs Office. No locals were
found.
-Boardman Police Dept,
officer cited James Jeffrey
Nelson, 36, for Driving while Li­
cense Suspended I and Driving
Uninsured and arrested on an
Irrigon Justice Court warrant for
Failure to Appear/Driving while
License Suspended and Driving
Uninsured.
-MCSO received a re­
quest for a deputy contact regard­
ing getting the caller’s grandchil­
dren’s property from their previ­
ous home.

Police received a report of a
minivan that just blew out a tire
and was off the roadway.
-MCSO, Oregon State
Police received a relayed report
of a possible DUII on 1-84.
-MCSO received a re­
layed report of a pickup traveling
westbound on 1-84 that was
weaving in and out of four to five
trucks.
-MCSO received a re­
port of a repossessed vehicle.

lice Dept, received a request for
an officer contact in Boardman
regarding a landlord dispute.
-MCSO, Heppner Police
Dept, received a report from a
caller in Heppner of a domestic
dispute in progress. It was deter­
mined it was a verbal dispute only.
-MCSO, Boardman Po­
lice Dept, received a report from
a caller in Boardman of a woman
and a child entering a trailer and
trespassing.
-MCSO, Oregon State
Police received a report of a dis­
abled van on 1-84 eastbound.
-MCSO, Boardman Po­
lice Dept, received a report from
a caller in Boardman of loud noises
that sounded like a party.
Boardman Police Dept, officer
arrested John Anthony Muniz, 23,
on a Washington County warrant
for Failure to Appear/Driving
while License Suspended $5,000
and on a Umatilla County war­
rant for Failure to Appear/DUII
$20,000. Due to Muniz’s high state
of intoxication, he was not lodged
and the Boardman ambulance
summoned due as he was vomit­
ing uncontrollably. No transport
was made.
March 27: MCSO dep­
uties arrested Melissa Ruth Tay­
lor, 30. on a Hood River County
warrant for Parole Violation/Pos-
session of Drugs; was also ar­
rested for Possession of a Con­
trolled Substance-Schedule 2 and
Possession of Less Than One
Ounce of Marijuana, and was cit­
ed for Driving while License Sus­
pended I and Failure to Obey Traf­
fic Control Device (Stop Sign).
She was lodged at the Umatilla
County Jail, no bail. The vehicle
was impounded.
-MCSO received a re­
port of a train blocking Patterson
Ferry Road. Union Pacific in
Omaha. NE was notified and the
train was moved.
-MCSO, Boardman Po­
lice Dept., Boardman ambulance
received a report from a caller in
Boardman of a 58-year-old male
who was vomiting and shivering.
The patient was transported to
Good Shepherd Medical Center
in Hermiston.
-MCSO received a re­
port from a caller in Lexington of
a female subject threatening him
and reported drug use at her res­
idence.
-MCSO received a re­
port from a caller in Heppner of
subjects driving on Corps of En­
gineers' property and littering by
Willow Creek Dam.
-MCSO received a 911
hang-up call from Irrigon. Upon
recontact it was determined that
it was a misdial.
-MCSO deputy cited
Judy Kay Gettman. 45. for Viola­
tion of the Basic Rule. 77 mph in
a 55 mph zone.
-MCSO received a re­
quest for a deputy contact from a
caller in Hermiston regarding
items his mother won’t let him
have.
-MCSO deputy cited
Karl Heg, 64, for Violation of the
Basic Rule.
-MCSO, Oregon State
Police received a relayed report
from a caller on Highway 730/82
junction of a Freightliner potato
truck passing incorrectly and al­
most causing a head-on collision.
-MCSO received a re­
port from the City of Heppner
Public Works that the water on
Gail Street would be off for an
hour.

Police received a report of a
speeding vehicle.
-MCSO received a re­
port from a caller in Boardman
that her neighbor threatened to
take her to court regarding a dog
problem.

Police received a report of a ve­
hicle on 1-84 eastbound passing
unsafely.

Donovan Clayton, 21, for Ex­
ceeding the Maximum Speed
Limit, 85 mph in a 65 mph zone.
-MCSO deputy cited
Brandi Lynne Still, 27, for Driv­
ing while License Suspended.
-MCSO received a re­
port of loud music. The source
was located and the noise abat­
ed.
March 29: Boardman
Police Dept, officer cited Jaime
Jimenez Ventura, 23, for Aban­
doning a Motor Vehicle.
-MCSO, Boardman Po­
lice Dept, officers cited Frank
David Battaglia, 23, for Posses­
sion of a Controlled Substance
Less than One Oz. Marijuana, and
was arrested on a Morrow Coun­
ty warrant for Contempt of Court

Child Support. He was lodged at
the Umatilla County Jail, bail
$ 20 , 000 .
-MCSO, Boardman Po­
lice Dept, received a 911 hang­
up call from a business in
Boardman. An officer was unable
to locate anything.
-MCSO, Boardman Po­
lice Dept., Boardman ambulance
received a request for an ambu­
lance at Logan International for
a female who had fallen off a lad­
der. She was conscious and
breathing.
-MCSO deputy cited
Maria Guadalupe Escobedo, 44,
for Violation of the Basic Rule,
70 mph in a 55 mph zone.
-MCSO received a re­
port from a caller in Irrigon re­
garding her neighbors racing
around on three- or four-wheel­
ers. A deputy contact was re­
quested.
-MCSO received a re­
port that a stolen vehicle was re­
covered by UCSO near Echo.
-MCSO, Boardman Po­
lice Dept, received a report of an
Unauthorized Use of a Motor
Vehicle in Boardman.
-MCSO, Heppner Fire
Dept.. Heppner ambulance re­
ceived a report of a one-vehicle
accident three miles past
Hardman. There were possible
minor injuries. It was determined
to be a non-injury, non-blocking
accident. The tow truck was no­
tified.
-MCSO received a hang­
up 911 call from a residence in
Irrigon.
-MCSO received a re­
port from a caller in Irrigon of a
neighbor’s child pointing a gun at
other kids. The gun type was un­
known.
-MCSO deputy arrested
Richard Frederick Hinz, 29, on a
UCSO warrant for Failure to
Appear/Driving while License
Suspended Misdemeanor. He
was lodged at the Umatilla County
Jail, bail $20,000.
-MCSO received a re­
layed report of a possible DUII
entering Irrigon.
-MCSO received a re­
port of a field fire from a caller in
Boardman. It was advised that
there were controlled bums in the
area.
-MCSO received a re­
port from a caller in Hardman of
a suspicious vehicle on Hardman
Ridge Road. The vehicle's occu­
pants said they were looking for
tools.
-MCSO deputy cited Th­
omas Stixrud Rose for Violation
of the Basic Rule. 75 mph in a 55
mph zone.
-MCSO deputy cited
Chris Linn Shelton for Violation
of the Basic Rule. 55 mph in a 35
mph zone.
-MCSO deputy cited
