Umatilla National Forest will be
conducting a prescribed fire un­
derbum on approximately 779
acres on the Henry Creek Juni­
per Project during the fall season
o f 2002. The legal description of
the project site is Sections 16,17,
18,19 and 20, Township 7 South,
Range 25 East, Wheeler County,
State of Oregon.
This purpose o f this pre­
scribed fire underbum is to meet
specific resource management
objectives by eliminating thinning
slash, reducing the accumulation
of natural fuels on the ground and
reintroduce fire into the ecosys­
tem.

lic hearing regarding state reve­
nue sharing, for the fiscal year
July 1, 2002 to June 30, 2003 at
Heppner City Hall, 188 W. Wil­
low Street. The meeting will take
place on the 10th of June. 2002 at
7:00 PM. The purpose o f the
hearing is to receive testimony
regarding the use of state reve­
nue sharing. This is a public meet­
