members take it to the streets to
make their town beautiful. Per-
feet sunshine and a little water
borrowed from lo n e’s Office
Cafe helped the 4-Hers do their
work planting flowers. The club
members earned money for the
flowers by selling hot chocolate
and coffee at lone’s annual Eas­
ter Egg Hunt.
Club members ask all mem­
bers of the lone communities to
take pride in the flower beds,
keeping them well watered and
clean of weeds, trash and ciga­
rette butts.

held on Tuesday, May 21. at the
lone Volunteer Fire Department
from 6:15-7:30 p.m.; on Thursday,
May 23, at the Heppner Neigh­
borhood Center from 6-7:30 p.m.;
and on Saturday, May 25, at the
Heppner Neighborhood Center
from 10 a.m.-12 noon.
