Thank You
The St. Patrick’s weekend is
always a big event for our com
munity. The Oregon Trail Pro
Rodeo committee would like to
thank many individuals who do
nated either materials, their time,
or equipment to make the annual
St. Pat’s MotorCross Barrel Race
so successful.
We would like to thank Bill
Green and Teddy Britt, Roger
Britt and Rusty Britt, as well as
Morrow County Grain Growers,
Joe McElligott and Bob Mahoney
for hauling and moving dirt to
and around the arena. Barry and
Mary Ann Munkers donated all
the new dirt for the arena. Dick
and Virginia Wilkinson contrib
uted all the gravel for the new
contestant parking lot and the
County and Rodeo committee
completed the enhanced area be
hind the rodeo grounds. These
donations were greatly appreci
ated by the Rodeo committee.
Many people volunteered
their time to help set up and run
the race this year. Without their
support the race could not run
smoothly. We would like to thank
the following people for their
time: Stormy and Jeff Botefuhr,
Sheri Mahoney, Ken Greib, Dan
and Carmen Wilson, Dale Wil
son, Matt Howard, Grant Wright,
Jay Papineau, John Griffith, Sta-
ci Wilson, Matt Hawkins and the
Morrow County EMT for supply
ing medical assistance for our rid
ers.
The sponsors this year donat
ed money to help with awards,
payouts and other supplies. These
include Lexington Polaris, Lex
ington Auto Body, Power City
Polaris, Chick Manufacturing,
Bank o f Eastern Oregon, Les
Schwab Tire Center of Heppner,
Jeff Wilson Construction, Peter
son’s Jewelers (trophies/batter-
ies), and Doug’s Septic. The do
nations and sponsorships help
make the motocross so attractive
and popular for contestants each
year. In a small town, your sup
port keeps fun family activities
like this going.
Thank you for going that ex
tra mile to help in our communi
ty-
