Sheriff's Report
The Morrow County S heriff s
Office (MCSO) reports handling
the following business:
-MCSO received a report o f a
sign stolen in Lexington.
-MCSO received several reports
o f two loud booms heard. It was
sonic booms caused by military jets
flying low over the area.
-MCSO received a request for
deputy contact near the Columbia
River past the MCGG elevator oft
Patterson Ferry Road in Imgon for
two intoxicated subjects who were
"gilbiettmg" and had overturned their
boa.s.
-MCSO received a report from
Bank of Eastern Oregon in Imgon
that a deposit envelope was located
that a customer misplaced when they
made their deposit in the night drop.
The envelope was open and money
removed but a check was left. The
envelope was rolled up and hidden
in the night drop box.
-MCSO received a report of an
alarm accidentally set off in
Boardman.
-MCSO received a report of
smoke near Finley Butte/Bombing
Range. The caller called back and
said it looked like a controlled bum.
There were people and equipment
near it.
-MCSO received a report from
Lane County Sheriffs office that
David Lee Hamilton. 34, was arrested
on Imgon Justice Court warrants
for Failure to Pay Fine/Dnving while
License Suspended and Failure to
Pay Fine/Driving Uninsured. He
was cited and released.
-MCSO received a report of five
to six juveniles on the Boardman
overpass spitting on cars. An officer
was unable to locate the juveniles.
-MCSO received a report of a
missing/runawayjuvenile located
and returned to a residence in
Boardman.
-Oregon State Police received
a report o f a male subject carrying
something long and walking along
1-84 westbound, just before the
Boardman rest area.
-MCSO received two possibly
related reports from Imgon of a male
subject, thought to be a juvenile,
knocking on residents' doors and
running away.
-MCSO received a report from
Lexmgton o f a suspicious vehicle
that was no longer in the area but
the caller had had chemicals stolen
in the past.
-Oregon State Police received
a report o f a car earner pulled over
on 1-84. It looked like they were
unloading the trailer but may have
just been repositioning the load.
-MCSO received a report from
Imgon of an unknown vehicle parked
in front o f a place o f business but
no one was around. The vehicle was
removed.
-MCSO, Boardman Police Dept,
received a request for officer contact
in Boardman regarding graffiti.
-MCSO received a report from
Columbia Middle School in Imgon
of fivejuveniles in their early teens
in the school yard who looked
suspicious.
-MCSO received a report from
Imgon o f a diabetic female subject
who had been drinking and had a
blood sugar of 224. Transport to a
hospital was refused.
-MCSO received a report of a
broken cell phone call from Imgon.
A female subject needed the police
due to a juvenile problem. There
were juveniles pounding on her door
then running away.
Sept 14: MCSO received a report
o f a noisy semi-truck parked and
running for six hours and the caller
couldn't sleep.
- Heppner ambulance, lone EMTs
received a report from lone that a
96-year-old man had fallen. His
daughter got him back on the bed.
but he was confused.
-Oregon State Police received
a report o f a vehicle tailgating the
caller on Highway 730. It then pulled
off the road and turned off its lights.
-Boardman Police Dept, received
a report of 3-4 male subjects walking
around the parking lot o f the
Columbia View Apts, and then
getting into a car and driving slowly
down Columbia Avenue.
-MCSO received a report from
Boardman that an elderly woman
had fallen off her bed again.
-MCSO. Boardman Police Dept.,
Boardman Fire Chief received a
report from Boardman of two male
juveniles, approximately nine years
old, burning tumbleweeds.
-MCSO received a report from
Imgon that a pack of five large dogs
were running
around
the
neighborhood and attacking dogs
that were tied up.
-MCSO received a report of a
suspicious male with a helmet and
face mask on the Tower Road
overpass. Contact was made with
the subject who he said he was
walking to Portland.
-MCSO, Umatilla Army Depot
received a report o f a small crop
duster flying over the Patterson Ferry
Road area.
-Oregon State Police received
a report o f a semi-truck driver
possibly falling asleep on 1-84
eastbound.
-Oregon State Poiice received
a report of a semi-truck loaded with
cars that was all over the road on
1-84 eastbound.
-Oregon State Police received
a report of a ODOT vehicle following
the caller on 1-84 eastbound.
-MCSO. Boardman Police Dept.,
INS received a report that Effrain
Vela-Plascencia, 33, was in custody
with an INS hold, an Imgon Justice
Court warrant for Failure to Pay
Fine/Dnving While License
Suspended and Driving Uninsured,
and a Marion County warrant for
Parole Violation/Assault IV (x2).
He was lodged with $499 bail for
one offense and no bail for another.
-MCSO received a request for
deputy contact regarding an e-mail
requesting funds from National
Brands for the emergency back East.
-MCSO received a report from
Imgon of several items taken from
the caller's residence.
-MCSO, Boardman Police Dept,
received a report o f a possible
abandoned vehicle with its door open
in Boardman. Boardman Police Dept,
was requested to check the vehicle
to see if it was hazardous.
-Boardman Police Dept, received
a hang-up 911 call from Boardman v .
It was kids playing on the phone.
-MCSO received a request for
deputy contact in Boardman. A
subject had a model airplane that
belongs to another person and the
caller requested the airplane be seized
and returned to the owner.
Sept. 15: MCSO, Boardman
Police Dept, received a report from
a caller in Boardman that her son
was out of control and had a knife.
The subject was arrested on
Attempted Assault III, Harassment,
Menacing and Domestic Felony.
-MCSO, Oregon State Police
received a report from a caller in
Lexington of items left near
anhydrous ammonia tanks that had
been tampered with last week.
-Imgon ambulance received a
request for an ambulance for a 93-
year-old who had fallen and hurt
a knee. The patient was transported
to Good Shepherd Medical Center
in Hermiston.
-Imgon ambulance received a
request for an ambulance in Imgon
for a 83-year-old who was having
chest pains and was vomiting. The
patient was transported to Good
Shepherd Medical Center in
Hermiston.
-MCSO received a report from
Kegler's Sentry in Boardman that
an employee's purse was taken from
the store. A possible suspect was
named.
-MCSO, Boardman Police Dept,
received a report from the Boardman
Library of a suspicious male acting
odd and making employees nervous.
-MCSO received a request for
deputy contact in Imgon regarding
a theft.
-MCSO received a request for
deputy contact in Heppner regarding
telephone harassment.
