Heppner Commercial Firewood
sales.These Two projects are located
within Morrow County, Oregon.
The Horse sale is located along
Forest Road 5322-020 at T. 5 S.,
R.28 E., Section 9, and the Brush
sale is located along Forest Road
5321 -044 at T.5 S., R.29 E., Sections
19, and T.5 S., R. 28 E., sections
24, W.M. surveyed, Morrow County,
Oregon
These sales will remove dead and
down trees from approximately 19
acres and will provide 250 cords
of firewood to local vendors. Only
dead standing or dead down trees
less than 24 inches in diameter would
be cut. These sales would reduce
fire hazard and improve forest health
while providing firewood to our local
community.
I have determined there was no
expression of enterest received
during the 30 day comment period
for this project. No correspondence
was received. Therefore this Decision
is not subject to the provisions of
the appeal regulations at 36 CFR
215.8 (a)(3).
