confirmed stolen gun from a subject
who called the previous day. The
gun was part of a burglary in Ontano
where many guns, coins and jewelry
were stolen.

a tow truck for a fifth wheel/trailer
that was disabled and causing a
hazard on Highway 730/West 4th
in Irrigon.
-MCSO, Boardman ambulance
received a report of a 65-year-old
; female who had fallen and was cut
between her eyes. The patient was
transported to Good Shepherd
, Medical Center in Hermiston.
-MCSO received a report of a
highly intoxicated person walking
on Parkside/Kunze. A deputy was
unable to locate the person.
-MCSO, Boardman ambulance
received a report o f a male lying
in a field on the north side of Kunze
Road off Parkside. The subject
refused transport to medical
facilities. A deputy gave the subject,
who was very intoxicated, a ride
to his residence.
-Oregon State Police received
a report of a Chevy 4-wheel drive
on Highway 730 eastbound that was
speeding at 80-plus miles per hour
and swerving all over the road,
almost running the caller off the
road.
-MCSO received a request for
assistance for a male subject at
Boardman Sentry Market who had
locked his keys in his car. The
locksmith was notified.
-MCSO received a request from
Imgon for deputy contact regarding
the caller’s son's bike that was stolen.
It was determined that the bike was
not stolen; the caller just wanted
to talk to the deputy regarding a
case he was working on.
-MCSO received a report from
Imgon that two male subjects in
a white van threatened the caller.
-Boardman Police Dept, received
an abandoned 911 call from
Boardman. Upon call-back, a male
subject at the location advised there
was no emergency. It seemed
suspicious. An officer checked the
location and was not able to locate
anyone.
-MCSO, Oregon State Police,

ambulances received a report of
a 40-year-old male subject who
had possible appendicitis. He was
on 1-84 eastbound. The Boardman
Ambulance met the officers and
transported the patient to Good
Shepherd Medical Center in
Hermiston.

a report from a male subject who
had possible information regarding
a DUII in Boardman.
-Boardman Police Dept, received
a report from Boardman that the
caller's husband was in a verbal
dispute with some juveniles.
-MCSO, Boardman Police Dept,
received a report of loud music in
Boardman.
-MCSO, Oregon State Police
officers arrested Dean Allan
Williams, 51, on an Imgon Justice
Court warrant for Failure to Pay
Fine/DUII. He was lodged at the
Umatilla County Jail.
-MCSO received a report from
the Portland Police Dept, that
Tamera Lynn Vanderstar, 40, was
arrested for Probation Violation.
There were no local charges. Bail
was set at $10,000.
July 16: MCSO received a report
of a hitchhiker who was barely off
the roadway at the I-84/Highway
730 interchange. The hitchhiker
was a heavy-set male wearing a two-
tone shirt.
-Oregon State Police received
a report o f an intrusion alarm at
Cascade Specialties in Boardman
The alarm was canceled.
-Heppner Police Dept, received
a report of a trucker needing a place
to park in Heppner until the next
day. The trucker was advised to call
Les Schwab or Devin's.
-MCSO received a report of a
burglary alarm at the ATM machine
at Bank o f Eastern Oregon in
Boardman. It was a false alarm.
-Imgon Fire Dept, received a
report of a brush fire on Highway
730/County Line Road. Imgon Fire
Dept, was asked to disregard report
as the fire was on the Umatilla
County side. Firefighters were on
the scene.
-MCSO received a request for
deputy
contact
concerning
vandalism.
-Oregon State Police received
a report that a pickup lost its wheel
on 1-84 eastbound. The vehicle was
in the median and everyone was
okay.

of a lawnmower on fire at lone Key
in lone.
-MCSO received a report from
a caller in Imgon that prescription
medication and a ring were stolen.
The caller thought it occured at least
a week ago when a woman that was
staying there left.
-MCSO, Heppner Police Dept.,
Heppner Ambulance received a
request for an ambulance from a
caller in Heppner for a 51 -year-old
male having difficulty breathing
and having radiating pain in his left
arm. One nitroglycerine pill was
taken with no effect. The patient
was transported to Pioneer Memorial
Hospital in Heppner.
-MCSO received a report from
a caller that she thought someone
entered her residence through her
bedroom window while she was
at work. It also appeared that they
went through some o f her
belongings.
-MCSO, Irrigon Ambulance
received a request for an ambulance
for a 51-year-old female in Imgon
with severe abdominal pain that
was radiating to the right side. The
caller decided to take her to Good
Shepherd Medical Center in
Hermiston by private vehicle.
-Boardman Police Dept, received
a report o f a woman looking for
her 37-year-old daughter who was
overdue. The daughter was found
at the Boardman westbound 1-84
rest area.
July 17: MCSO received a report
that someone was banging on the
outside o f the caller's house in
Irrigon and had broken her
daughter's window.
-Boardman Police Dept received
a report o f a barking dog in
Boardman. The caller requested
officers contact the dog's owners.
-Oregon State Police received
a report o f a hit deer on 1-84
westbound. The driver was okay
and the vehicle was off the road.
-MCSO received a report of a
black bag lull of baseball equipment
lost somewhere on 1-84 west of
Boardman. The owner left contact
information in case someone found
it and turned it in.
-MCSO received a report o f a
vehicle passing the caller in a no­
passing zone on Highway 74 east
of Sandhollow.
-Heppner Fire Dept, received
a report of a grass fire across from
the Wrangler grounds near Willow
Creek. An irrigation pump had
caught fire.
-MCSO received a report of four
juveniles breaking glass on the street
in front of the caller's residence in
Imgon.
-MCSO received a report of an
alarm activation at the Imgon
Learning Center in Irrigon. A man
was at the scene but didn't know
the correct alarm deactivation code.

Dennis Norman, 40, of Meacham,
was arrested on an Imgon Justice
Court warrant for Failure to Pay

Suspended. He was lodged at the

a request for an ambulance for an
80-year-old woman in Boardman
with abdominal pam. She thought
it was a hiatal hernia. The woman
was transported to Good Shepherd
Medical Center in Hermiston by
private vehicle.
-MCSO received a report from
Imgon of a suspicious couple at
a residence in Irrigon. The owner
was not home. The male subject
kept going behind the house and
it looked like he was putting stuff
in to a black bag. The female subject
kept pushing a baby carnage up and
down the street. TTie caller did not
see them going into the residence.
-MCSO, Boardman Police Dept,
received a report of a fight in
progress across the street from the
Boardman Texaco station. It
appeared that two to three males
and one female were involved. The
parties separated while the caller
was on the line. One male subject
was advised by an officer not to
return to the Texaco property or
he would be arrested.
-MCSO, Boardman Police Dept,
received a report of two females
and one male in a verbal dispute
in a parking lot in Boardman.

from a caller on 1-84 with blown
out tires from debris on the road
who needed assistance.
