Chamber member Darrell Raver shows mountain bikes and recliner
to be raffled off as a Chamber of Commerce fund raiser.
D ick Frost will w elcom e you to
the w orld o f m ake-believe with his
presentation o f illusion and magical
skills at the fair Friday from noon
to 1 p.m.
"Frost differs from most
m agicians in the w orld o f
entertainm ent today-not only does
he entertain, surprise and mystify
his audiences, he also captiv ates them
because o f his broad background
o f education, travel and expenences."
according to a release.
Frost has studied dram a, the
theater, and education He has an
associate o f arts degree, a bachelor
o f arts and a master's degree He also
has a degree for two years o f study
in magic with the "late, great" Ben
Chavez o f Hollywood w ho helped
him to develop and perfect his skills
o f "m agical m anipulation".
"Children and adults will love
the guest appearance o f Mr
Longears, and will see what his
birthday present will be this year."
Kimlai Yingling featured singer at the fair Thursday
Kimlai Yingling, who participated
at the Morrow County Fair last year
w ith Ed Dailey in his variety show,
will return this year, perform ing
favorite songs on Thursday. August
16 from 3-4 p.m.
. Due to unforeseen engagements
Ed Dailey will not be able to perform
at the fair this year.

roll into a new recliner or roll through
the mountain trails on a bike after
the Morrow County Fair and Oregon
Trail Pro-Rodeo? Then you'll want
to take a chance on w inning the
H eppner C ham ber o f C om m erce
drawing for a leather recliner or a
m ountain bike.
Tickets will be available
throughout the Fair and Rodeo week
at $5 each or three for S I 0 .lt takes
only one to win. The first ticket drawn
will be for the recliner and the next
two for the m ountain bikes.
Tickets will be drawn on Sunday,
Aug. 19, at the M orrow County
Rodeo. O ne need not be present to
win.
Proceeds from the draw ing will
go toward printing o f new Heppner
brochures, banners and C hristm as
decorations. The Chamber appreciates
the community support o f their non-
dues projects. Have a great tim e at
the Morrow County Fair and Oregon
Trail Pro-Rodeo.

o f fairgoers" again this year on the
outdoor stage on Thursday from 11
a.m. to noon.
