Have you experienced any of the McMenamms hotels, restaurants, or pubs, some with theaters, etc ? The McMenamin brothers have renovated old hotels, a poor farm, a Masonic Lodge and schools into visitor attractions and they are all in western Oregon. What about either the old Heppner Junior High School or the Lexington School... an opportunity to utilize one of these old buildings while creating jobs, a movie theater, art exhibits, stage, and additional accommodations for visitors. It would finally be okay to fall asleep in school. This would also enhance the existing businesses we have by bringing in more visitors. This could be their first establishment in eastern Oregon, located in the Willow Creek Valley along the Blue Mountain Scenic byway. (So, fire away, before I approach the school and the McMenamins.
