Obituaries Henrv Dale "Bud" Lundell Henry Dale "Bud" I undell. 85, died on April 19, 2001 at his home in Peidmont, California. Burial services were held at Valby Lutheran Church in lone on Saturday April 28, 2001 with Rev. Tom Hiller officiating. Relatives attending the services were Jeanne Lundell and Janet Ahlin of Boise, Idaho, Lddie Lundell of Oakland, California, Chris Lundell of San Leandro. California, and Wallace Lundell and son Michael of Portland. Memorial services were held earlier in the week in California. Dale was bom on October 1,1915 to Oscar L. and Mary Petr.e Lundell at their home near Cecil. He was a graduate of Arlington High School. He owned a company named Lundell Associates, a steel fabricating business. One of his efforts was the Student Union Building at San Francisco State. He married Betty V. Blair in 1941 and they lived in Peidmont until her death. They had one son, Edward Leon and they adopted two infants, Judy Dale and Lisa Joy. After Betty's death he married Bevqrly Jemigan Smith, who had five children. They called them the "Brady Bunch". After their divorce in 1981, her youngest son, Chris, was adopted by Dale. Bud was active in the Bay Area Horseless Carnage Club, and-with a friend, William L. Cross, actively shopped for antiques o f all sorts. Survivors include sons Eddie and Chris and daughters Judy and Lisa; a sister-in-law. Jeanne Lundell; and nieces and nephew, Corliss E. Lundell. Janet E. Ahlin and Curtis Evan Lundell. Reade, 49, of Vancouver, Washington, dted April 26,2001 at Longview, Washington of colon cancer. Memorial services were held at Fishers Grange Hall #211 at Vancouver, Washington on Wednesday, May 2, 2001; and will be held at Spray Assembly of God Church in Spray on Saturday, May 5, 2001 at 11 a m. Interment will be held at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland on Thursday, May 3, 2001 at 11 a.m. Mr. Reade was bom October 7, 1951. He was raised in Spray. He graduated from the Kansas Police Academy in 1974 and Alaska Pacific University, Anchorage, Alaska, in 1991 with a BA degree. He worked as a truck driver. He was the former chief o f police in Condon from 1975-1978 and the director of security for Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage from 1985 to 1993. He married Patricia A. McConville on March 2, 1990, at Spokane, Washington. Survivors include his wife Patricia, at the home; sons and daughters-in-law Kenneth and Deanna Reade o f Pendleton and Douglas and Sheila Reade of Lebanon; step-daughter and spouse Paula and Robert Stevenson of Bothell, Washington; stepsons and spouses Stephen and Charlotte Eugenio of Gresham, David and Candyce Eugenio o f Everett, Washington, Eddie and Monica Eugenio of Spokane, Washington, and Tony and Anna Eugenio of Salem; mother Mary Reade of Boardman; sister and spouse, Cindy and John Breidenbach of Heppner; four grandchildren and nine step- grandchildren. Allen has released the following report: -Sean Gamer Brause plead guilty to manufacture of a controlled substance- methamphetamine and was sentenced to 24 months formal probation and 160 hours of community service. He was also ordered to complete a drug treatment program and pay $474 in fines, fees and assessments. -Brad Steven Foster plead guilty to theft I, a Class C felony and was sentenced to 10 days in jail. He was also ordered to pay 1,169 in fines, fees and assessments. -Shelly Rose Birdwell plead guilty to possession o f a controlled substance and was sentenced to 18 months probation and 80 hours o f community service. She was also ordered to complete a drug treatment program and pay $479 in fines, fees and assessments. The commission is seeking new proposals for the current quarter. There is approximately $1,390 available this quarter. The maximum per grant is $500. Examples of reasonable Community Development Fund requests include, but are not limited to: seasonal program needs; small capital expenditures (except for private property); service program staff training; onetime events and pilot projects.
