The Morrow County S h e riffs
Office (MCSO) reports handling
the following business:
-Heppner Fire Department,
MCSO received report of a one
vehicle motor vehicle accident on
Hwy 207. It was a non-injury
accident but the vehicle was
\b lo c k in g the roadway.
M arch 7: MCSO received
report that a deputy is out with a
male sitting by a reflector near 1-84
eastbound mp 170. The deputy
transported the subject to the
Boardman 76 Station.
-MCSO cited one subject
for Driving Uninsured and Failure
to Maintain Lane.
-HPD received report of
an older model gray sports car with
one headlight and a dent on the
passenger side. The vehicle was
currently circling Riverside/Union.
-BPD received report of
an alarm at Boardman Health Care
Officer confirmed with an employee
at the scene that the building was
secure

-OSP, ODOT received
report of very heavy fog through
Boardman area on 1-84 and
requested that the reader boards be
activated as they were the previous
day.
-Pendleton
Police
Department arrested Greg A. Bass,
20, on an Im gon Justice Court
warrant for DUD and for Providing
False Information to a Police
Officer. He was lodged at Umatilla
County Jail with $12,000 bail.

Department arrested Frank D.
Battaglia, 22, on a warrant for
Failure to Appear/Driving While
Suspended,
Failure
to
Appear/Contempt,
Criminal
Trespass, Harassment. He was
lodged at Umatilla County Jail with
$51,000 bail.
-Heppner
Ambulance
received request for ambulance for
an 80 year old male who had fallen.
He was on oxygen and was still
down. One subject was transported
to Pioneer Memorial Hospital.
-MCSO received report of
a suspicious looking subject hanging
out at Hwy. 730 and 1-84 that looks
like he could have a warrant.
-MCSO arrested Kenneth
Wayne Hunter, 21, on a Eugene
Police Department warrant for
Failure to Appear/Delivery o f MJ
for Payment. The subject was
lodged at Umatilla County Sheriffs
Office Jail with $20,000 bail.
-BPD cited one subject for
Driving Uninsured.
-Boardman Fire Department
received report that the caller's Jeep
was on fire. The fire was out before
the Fire Department arrived.
-BPD received report of
juveniles throwing big rocks in
Boardman.
-MCSO received report of
four calves found m the caller's
driveway and secured on his
property.
-OSP received report of
two semi trucks with Missouri plates
speeding on 1-84 eastbound.
-MCSO received report that
a friend o f the caller had left his
vehicle on the caller's property.
-BPD received report of
an intoxicated male subject at the
Sandpiper Apts, in Boardman that
would not leave.
-MCSO received report of
loud music at a residence in
Imgon.
-Boardman Ambulance,
BPD received report of a subject
having a lot of trouble breathing.
One subject was transported to Good
Shepherd Medical Center in
Hermiston.
M arch 8: Boardman
Ambulance received report of a
motor vehicle accident, rollover
on 1-84 eastbound mp 145. The
parents are on the scene and
requesting an ambulance for their
child passenger. Three subjects
were transported to Good Shepherd
Medical Center in Hermiston.
-MCSO received report of
reckless driving by a tractor and
trailer which is driving in and out
of traffic. Officer made contact
with subject and advised him of
the complaint.
-MCSO received request
for deputy contact concerning a
neighbor's dogs that kill smaller
animals
all
through
the
neighborhood. The caller knew
where the dogs live.
-HPD received request for
contact from the HPD as the caller
discovered more items missing from
the previous theft.
-MCSO cited two Imgon
juveniles for Theft III.
-MCSO received report that
the caller's car had been vandalized
while sitting in Hermiston with
several items missing.
-MCSO received report of
a black lab back at the caller's
residence in Imgon.
-MCSO received report of
a van sitting in front of the caller's
rented property that was tagged.
-MCSO received report of
a careless driver in Imgon.
-OSP arrested Martin
George Parke, 62, on an Imgon
Justice Court warrant for Failure
to Appear/Dnvmg While Suspended
with $6,000 bail. The subject posted
bail and was released.
-Heppner
Ambulance
received report that the caller's 69
year old father had fallen and could
not get up.
-OSP received report of
a subject driving around in the
caller's anhydrous truck and then
the subject headed toward lone in
a blue hatchback.
-MCSO received report that
the caller's 83 Ford's tires were
slashed the previous day at the
caller's residence in Imgon.
-Imgon Ambulance, Fire
Department received report o f a
motor vehicle accident on Hwy.
730 one mile west of Imgon. The
situation and injuries were unknown.
March 9: MCSO received
a report from the Portland Police
Dept, of the arrest of David Ephrem.
27, on a warrant out of the Imgon
Justice Court for Failure to
Appear/No Deer Tag, and on local
charges. He was lodged at the
Multnomah County Jail with $598
fine.
-MCSO deputy cited David
Ramos Juarez, of Hermiston, for
No Driver's License, No Insurance
and three counts o f Endangering
a Child Passenger.
-MCSO received a request
from the Grand Ronde Gaming
Commission
for
criminal
background information on an
individual.

We would appreciate if parents would be there for sign-ups
so they can sign the release form. It does not cost anything;
all you need to bring is a pen.
There will also be information about Colt Volleyball for next fall and
a sign-up sheet for coaches and volunteers
There may be a clinic in August that will be put on by the high
school volleyball players This will be included on the release form.

officer cited and released a 14-year-
old juvenile for Criminal Mischief

from a woman in lone that the
neighbor's dog was coming to her
residence, eating the cat food and
making a ruckus at night.
-MCSO, Oregon State Police
received a report from Imgon that
the caller saw a girl go into an
unknown white van. The girl was
okay, she left with a friend without
telling anyone.
-MCSO received a report
that the ODFW was planning a
controlled bum at the Umatilla
Wildlife Refuge, McCormick Slough
outside o f Imgon.
-MCSO received a request
to meet a deputy so the caller and
her sister could get fingerprinted.
-MCSO received a request
to see a deputy regarding a custody
matter. The caller's wife had the
children in Imgon and wouldn't let
him see them.
-MCSO, Heppner Police
Dept, received a request to see an
officer. The caller's mother had
recently passed away and the caller’s
grandmother wouldn't let the caller
have her mother's possessions.
-MCSO. Oregon State Police
received a report from the Boardman
rest area that there was a stranded
vehicle with steam coming from
the engine on 1-84 eastbound. There
was a woman and a baby by the
vehicle.
-MCSO received a report
of a small red pickup following too
closely then passing unsafely on
Highway 730 between Imgon and
Umatilla.
-MCSO, Oregon State Police
received a report o f a red pickup
on 1-84 driving all over the roadway.
-MCSO received a 911 call
from Boardman from an unknown
male wanting to know how to stop
from killing his wife, then hung up.
Officers were unable to locate the
caller.
March 10: MCSO deputy
cited Chen Ann Estes, 37, Irrigon,
for DUII.
-MCSO received an
abandoned 911 call from the
Bombing Range Road..

received another abandoned 911
call from the Bombing Range Road.
-Oregon State Police officer
arrested James Stout II, 22, for
Attempting
to
Elude
by
Foot/Vehicle. He was lodged at the
Umatilla County Jail, posted
$13,500 bail and was released.
-MCSO, Oregon State Police
received a report from a man with
the the Arlington Fire Dept, that
his wife, on 1-84, called on her cell
phone that her vehicle's spare tire
was on fire. The vehicle was
engulfed before help could arrive.
No one responded from the
Arlington Fire Dept, so North
Sherman County was called.
-MCSO, Oregon State
Police, Arlington Fire Dept, received
a report that a Chevy pickup was
pulled over to the side o f 1-84
westbound with smoke coming from
under the vehicle.
-MCSO, Oregon State Police
received a report of a Oldsmobile
with a female driver and child
passenger were all over the road
on 1-84 westbound.
-MCSO deputy arrested
Carl Findley Riley, 71, on a Morrow
County Circuit Court warrant for
Sex Abuse I. He was lodged at the
Umatilla County Jail with $50,000
bail.
-MCSO received a report
from a man in Imgon bitten on the
hand by a stray dog that was still
in the area. The man went to the
hospital by private vehicle.
-MCSO received a report
from a bartender at a party at the
Port of Morrow building that several
people were getting out of hand.
The people left the scene.
MCSO cited
a juvenile for Driving Uninsured
and Improper Lighting.
-MCSO. Oregon State Police
received a report of debris on the
road on 1-84 eastbound, at the 131
exit.
-MCSO deputy recovered
a missing vehicle at the Riverside
High School in Boardman.
-MCSO cited Fransisco,
Cavazos-Hemandez. 30, ofUmatilla.
for Open Container.
March 11: MCSO deputy
arrested Kathy Linderman, 46. for
Parole
Violation/Disorderly
Conduct. She was lodged at the
Umatilla County Jail with a hold
for Polk County.
-MCSO received a report
that the dog that bit the man the
previous day was back The dog
was captured and taken to a kennel
in Imgon.
-MCSO received an
abandoned 911 call from Finley
Buttes on the Bombing Range Ihe
area was checked and no one was
around.
-MCSO, Oregon State Police
received a report of a vehicle going
100+ on 1-84 eastbound.
-MCSO, Oregon State Police
received a report from a passing
truck driver of a possible domestic
situation on 1-84, westbound 129
exit. A Subaru was located at the
exit with a person sitting on top.

ambulance received a request for
an ambulance for a non-emergency
transport for a woman who had back
pain and was unable to walk on her
own. The patient was transported
to Good Shepherd Medical Center
in Hermiston.
-MCSO received a report
of a pink Ford Escort stuck in the
gravel pit between California and
Utah streets in Imgon.
-MCSO received a request
from McMinnville for a welfare
check on a person in Imgon. The
caller had received a distraught letter
from the person. The caller was
advised the person moved to Elgin.
-MCSO received a request
from Rock Springs, Col. for a
welfare check on the caller's sister
who had a history of strokes.
-MCSO,

ambulance received a request for
an ambulance for a transport for
a male juvenile.
-MCSO received a report
from Imgon of three eighth grade
boys in the caller's yard stealing
things and making obscene gestures.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in Imgon that his 15-
year old daughter returned home
with dog bites on her legs. She did
not need medical attention at the
time.
-MCSO received a report
of two males in a Dodge Neon with
the driver drinking beer. They were
headed towards the Boardman grade
school. Ricardo Calvillo-Ramirez,
22, was cited for Open Container.
-MCSO received a request
for a deputy contact in Lexington
regarding a restraining order-release
agreement with no contact wanted.

ambulance received a request for
an ambulance for a transport ThC
patient was transported to Good
Shepherd Medical Center in
Hermiston.
-MCSO received a report
from an Imgon man that someone
just broke out the window of his
vehicle that was parked at his
residence.
March 12: MCSO deputies
advised that they were in Irrigon
with subjects who left on foot. The
vehicle was impounded and a rifle
in the vehicle was seized.
-BPD received request for
assistance to find a '94 Chevy
Cavalier that was taken by the
owner's daughter who does not have
permission to use it. The vehicle
was not signed as stolen at the time.
-MCSO, Im gon Public
Works received report of a stop sign
down in Imgon.
-HPD received request for
contact about a possible theft at the
Northwestern
Motel
in
Heppner.
-BPD received report o f
an alarm vault door at the Bank of
Eastern Oregon in Boardman.
Turned out to be a false alarm.
-MCSO received report of
a subject taking the caller's car
without his permission. The caller
wants to sign the vehicle stolen.
-MCSO received report of
shots being fired all day in Imgon.
-BPD received report of
a vehicle that kicked up rocks that
caused damage to the caller's
windshield. The caller wants officer
contact for a report only.
-BPD received a 911 hangup
call from a residence in Boardman.
Attempted recontact but line was
busy. Officer advised all was ok.
-OSP received report of
a black Honda leaving the Boardman
Texaco Station with a toddler in
the front seat and no restraints.
-MCSO received request
for deputy assistance with a juvenile
transport to Norcor.
-MCSO received request
for assistance with a subject who
said that she was going to run away.
Officers located subject and
transported her to the Imgon Clinic.
-Boardman Fire Department.
BPD received report of a vehicle
fire in Boardman.
-Pioneer Memonal Hospital.
MCSO received report that the
caller's two-year-old child had
boiling water bums on the top of
her feet. The caller was running cold
water on them and wanted to know .
if she should do anything else.
Caller did not want ambulance
response and said as soon as her
husband got home they would take
the child to Pioneer Memorial
Hospital.
-MCSO received request
for deputy response advising that
the caller had caught a 12-year- old
shoplifting. MCSO cited one subject
for Theft III.

Justice Court warrant for Failure
to Appear/Dnvmg While Suspended,
Driving Uninsured. She was lodged
at Umatilla County Jail with $6,000
bail.
March 13: MCSO, OSP
arrested Elis Faustmo Marquez-
Ruiz, 31, on a Multnomah County
warrant for DUII. Subject was
lodged at Umatilla County Jail with
$5,000 bail.
-MCSO, Road Department
received report that a truck pulling
a disc plow had caused road damage
by pulling up a grate and cutting
the caller's phone line.
-Boardman Fire Department
received report of a fire on property
west o f Boardman and south of
the freeway between the rest area
and the city o f Boardman.
-Heppner Fire Department,
HPD received request for the
Heppner Fire Department to be
paged out to set up a landing zone
for AirLife at the fairgrounds.
-Road Department received
report of some tumble weeds
blocking Laurel lane.
-Road Department received
report of a tree blown down with
limbs blocking the road in
Boardman.
-Road Department received
report of a "Narrow" sign down
between Kunze and Olsen.
-BPD, MCSO received
report that a customer of the caller's
just had his bike stolen from the
store.
-MCSO received report of
a black cow out on Hwy. 74.
March 14: BPD received
report of a possible broken water
line at Sam Boardman Elementary.
-MCSO received report that
the caller wanted to cite a subject
for almost causing a MVA involing
him.
-MCSO received report that
a fire drill was to occur at
appfoximatly 11:45p.m. at Irrigon
Headstart.
-BPD received report of
a hit and run that just occurred at
the C & D Drive Inn. The subject
hit a truck, looked back, then took
off. The subject was last seen east
on NE Boardman Ave.
-BPD received report that
the caller wanted them to deliver
a message to a subject in Boardman
concerning an emergency in the
family.
-MCSO received report that
the caller had found a CD player
and some CDs in a field behind the
Senior Center in Imgon.
-MCSO received report from
a female that a subject had
threatened her life.
-MCSO received report that
a vehicle had hit another vehicle
in the parking lot in Imgon. The
driver was at the location at the time
and there were no injuries or
blocking.
-MCSO, BPD received
report of three occupants in an older
model Ford pickup, drinking beer.
-MCSO cited two subjects
for open container.

ambulance received a request for
an ambulance from Murray Drugs
of a 30 year old female who had
passed out and fell down. She was
conscious and breathing. The patient
was transported to Pioneer Memonal
Hospital in Heppner.

received a request for an ambulance
for a 61-year-old man who was
conscious and breathing but had
extreme stomach pain. The patient
was transported to Pioneer Memonal
Hospital in Heppner.
-MCSO received a report
from an Imgon caller whose
daughter had left the residence and
was given a nde to Union or to her
brother's house Subject was located
by Union Police.
-MCSO received a report
of an open driveway fence and
garage door at a residence in
Heppner. The caller requested a
deputy to investigate.
-MCSO received a report
of a vehicle pulling a trailer between
Heppner and Lexington that was
disabled and partially on the road.
The vehicle was towed to Heppner
-MCSO received a report
from an Imgon man that a woman
called him and advised him that
she was coming over to his residence
w hich was a violation of her Grant
County Sheriffs release agreement
March 15:

ambulance received a request for
an ambulance for a 79-year-old
woman who was conscious but
unable to walk. The patient was
transported to Pioneer Memorial
Hospital in Heppner.
-MCSO, Morrow County
Road Dept, received a report o f a
sign down at Slaughterhouse and
Riverside in Heppner.
-MCSO received a report
from an Im gon woman that
someone's dog had attacked her
puppy while it was in her yard.
-MCSO received a report
of possible child abuse in Heppner.
-MCSO received a request
from Columbia Middle School in
Imgon to cite a student for
possession o f tobacco.
-MCSO received a report
from a Boardman woman that
someone stole her house cat.
-MCSO received a report
of a panic alarm at the Arlington
Bank of Eastern Oregon. Electricians
were working at the location.
-MCSO received a report
from a Boardman man that caller's
friend rented his property to another
party and they weren't paying him.
-MCSO received a report
from an Irrigon woman that her
sister assaulted her. Toni Pennock,
24, was arrested for Assault IV and
lodged at the Umatilla County Jail.
Bail was set at $6,000.
-MCSO deputy arrested
Daniel Roy Walchli, 26, on a
detention warrant for parole
violation. Walchli was lodged at
the Umatilla County Sheriffs Office
Jail.
-MCSO received a report
from an Imgon woman that two
dogs had killed her chickens. She
requested a deputy contact.
-MCSO received a report
o f a suspicious vehicle parked at
the turkey shoots with their lights
aimed at the caller's residence. An
officer was unable to locate the
vehicle.
March 16: MCSO received
a report of a cow out on Highway
19. The owner was contacted.
-MCSO received a request
for a welfare check on an Imgon
woman from an Union woman. A
welfare check was made.
-MCSO received a report
o f three juveniles in a red sports
car shooting paint balls at passing
cars in the Boardman area.
-MCSO, Boardman Police
and Fire departments received a
report of an entry door alarm going
off at the Sam Boardman Elementary
School in Boardman. It was a false'
alarm.
-MCSO received a request
for a deputy contact by phone from
an Irrigon man who had a
confrontation with his wife who
had been drinking and was off her
medication. The man didn't want
to get into trouble. He was advised
not to make any offensive contact
with his wife.
-MCSO received a report
o f a Chrysler vehicle driven by a
young man who speeds up and down
the Cemetery Hill in Heppner every
day.
-MCSO deputy issued a
citation to Christopher Lyons, 28,
for DUII, Driving while License
Suspended-Misdemeanor, Giving
False Information to a Police Office
and Violation of the Basic Rule,
87 mph in a 55 mph zone.

Arlington Fire Dept., Arlington
ambulance received a report o f a
motor vehicle roll-over accident
on 1-84 with injuries to passengers.
Three patients were transported to
Good Shepherd Medical Center in
Hermiston.
-MCSO, Heppner Police
Dept, received a report from
Bucknum's o f a female who was
refusing to leave and was causing
a disturbance.
-MCSO deputy cited Adam
Doherty, 21, o f Heppner for DUII
Doherty was cited and released
-MCSO, Arlington Fire
Dept., Arlington ambulance received
a report of a motor vehicle vs.
freight train accident at the I-
84/Highway 74 junction. The vehicle
had heavy damage; the train did
not derail nor catch on fire. One
patient was transported to Good
Shepherd Medical Center in
Hermiston with LifeFlight to pick
up.
-MCSO. Boardman Police
Dept., Boardman ambulance
received a request for an ambulance
for a 26-year-old male who was
experiencing extreme stomach pain
radiating into his back. He was
conscious and breathing He refused
transport
