COMMITTEE HEARING
A public meeting of the Budget
Committee of the Willow Creek
Park District, Morrow State of
Oregon, to discuss the budget for
the fiscal year July 1,2001 to June
30,2002 will be held at Lexington
City Hall, Lexington, OR. The
meeting will take place on the 8th
day of May, 2001 at 7:00 P.M.. The
purpose of the meeting is to receive
the budget message and to receive
comment from the public on the
budget. A copy o f the budget
document may be inspected or
obtained on or after May 8, 2001
at Heppner City Hall, between the
hours o f 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M..
This is a public meeting where
deliberation o f the Budget
Committee will take place. Any
person may appear at the meeting
and discuss the proposed programs
with the Budget Committee.

The women's team defeated the
Pirates, 3-2, while the men's team
was not as successful, winning only
one o f seven matches.
In boys’ singles, Aaron Brown
lost to Shawn McKimmey, 4-8.

Cody Bowline, but Bowline took
the next five games to lead
McElligott, 4-6. McElligott made
a comeback but succumbed to his
opponent, 7-9.
The doubles team o f Adam
Neiffer and Adam McCabe posted
the only men's victory, defeating

fell to Matt Weseman and Israel

Jeff Hunt fought a tough match

Neiffer and Johnny Collin were
defeated by Jason Imus and Kris
Smith. 2-6. Billy Ross teamed up
with Cameron Krebs to spar against
Rafal Trzepanowski and Brian
Bunch. Ross played his best match
of the season so far. but the duo fell
to their opponents, 2-6.
In girls' action. Caitlin Orem lost
to Crystal Smith, 5-8. Sheena
Chnstman had no problem defeating
Andrea Orcutt, 8-0. Molly Barrow
and Salli McElligott lost to Shelly
Dean and Ashley Howell, 3-8.
Meghan McCabe and Emily Key
came back from a 0-5 deficit to
defeat Rioni Watson and Becki
McNamee, 9-7. Salli McElligott
