Club met at the lone Bank o f Eastern
Oregon on April 9 to stuff Easter
eggs tor the big "hunt" at the city park
in lone.
In attendance were Victoria Heagy,
Amanda and Aimee Emery, Emily,
Abby, Shelly and Justin Key, Tiana
Camarillo, Sharon Rietmann, Laurie
Rosenbush and Fran Barnett.
The Easter Egg Hunt will be held
Saturday, April 14 at 10 a.m. All
children ages 0-fourth grade are
invited to attend.

Wheeler County, Oregon
On April 6,2001, Heppner District
Ranger, Andrei Rykoff, decided to
implement the Henry Creek juniper
removal on the Heppner Ranger
District. The project will remove the
juniper growing in the understory
o f stands. In addition, some
precommercial thinning will take place
in the scattered clumps of Ponderosa
Pine and Douglas-fir reproduction.

from the Heppner Ranger District,

A public meeting of the Budget
Committee o f the Oregon Trail
Library district Morrow County, State
o f Oregon, to discuss the budget for
the fiscal year July 1,2001 to June
30,2002, will be held at the Heppner
Library, 444 North Main St.,
Heppner, OR 97836. The meeting
will take place on the 18th day o f
April, 2001, at 6 pm. The purpose
of the meeting is to receive the budget
message and to receive comment from
the public on the budget. A copy of
the budget document may be inspected
or obtained at the budget committee
meeting or after April 18, 2001, at
Boardman and Heppner libraries
between the hours o f 12:00 p.m. and
5:00 p.m.
This is a public meeting where
deliberations of the Budget Committee
will take place. Any person may
appear at the meeting and discuss
the proposed programs with the
Budget Committee.
