Red Cross to offer child CPR classes
The American Red Cross,
Umatilla County Chapter, will
hold an Infant/Child CPR class
Monday evening, Jan. 29, from
6-9 p.m.
The class is being held at the
chapter’s new location at 920
S.W. Frazer, Suite 107 (the
bottom
level

3-R's
school/office building at the
comer of Southwest 10th and
Frazer) in Pendleton. Cost is $15
per enrollee.

Little League needs volunteers
The Heppner Little
League is in need o f
volunteers, especially board
members, according to past
chairman John Murray.
"The season is fast

Adams scored on a nice pass
from Sam Van Liew to make it
57-51 with less than 2:00 left.

Mustang boys’ JV team had to
hang on to beat the Umatilla
Vikings, 60-54, in Umatilla on
Friday, Jan. 5. The Mustangs
remained undefeated at 5-0 on
the year.
The Mustangs ran out to a 16-6
lead after one and extended it to
32-18 at halftime, getting six
points from Brad Adams and five
more from Kevin Drake.
A three-point play by Adams
gave the Mustangs a 44-22 lead
with 4:00 left in the third quarter,
