citizens of the Willow Creek
Valley set out to judge lighting
contests. After much discussion
and many miles traveled. Chase
Street was declared Heppner's
Holiday Lane, with Fairview

honorable
mention.
First place in residential
The lone Drama Class will
present "Captain Fantastic", a
play by Tim Kelly, on Sunday,
Jan. 14 at 6 p.m. at the lone
School cafeteria.
There will be no admission
charge, however, donations will
be accepted.
The class spent the first quarter
of the semester working to fine-
tune their drama skills. They
concentrated on the 11 basic
elements of a drama production,
such as acting, sets, props and
stage management. For the
second quarter, they combined
their talents with the new skills
they learned, to put on the
production
of
"Captain
Fantastic".
Every part of the production
process will be done by a drama
class member. Students in this
year's drama class are: Katie
Bacon, director and actress;
Allison Halvorsen, assistant
director, costume assistant and
actress; Molly Barrow, costume
designer, publicist, assistant set
designer and actress; Cory
Bennetto.
