The Morrow County Commis­
sion on Children and Families has
established a fund to assist in the
development of parenting skills
and exchanging of ideas for
parenting in Morrow County.
There is approximately $1,800
available at this time and any
qualified organization of person
may apply. The commission will
give priority to projects which
address appropriate parenting
skills and provide, child care for
children of the participants during
the trainings or meetings. How­
ever, any project that addresses
the commission’s goals will be
considered.
The deadline for proposals is
Tuesday, Jan. 2. Proposals must
be in the Commission office by 5
p.m. Jan. 2. Late proposals can­
not be considered. Proposals will
be reviewed on Tuesday, Jan. 9
during the monthly commission
meeting. Applications are avail­
able at the commission office at
120 South Main in Heppner or by
calling 676-9675.
