Isn't it time we said no?
To the Editor:
This letter is written to
thank Barney Lindsay for
supporting what the people want
rather that blindly supporting a
superintendent's
wishes.
Lindsay's own straight-talk
express shouldn't be derailed.
How can superintendent
Anderson justify spending what
little money the district has for
scholarships and expenses for
more administrators?
The
principal's position open last year
had many, many applicants.
What
does
Superintendent
Anderson want? Properly brain-
washed
in-district
administrations that will toe his
line?
More benefits for
administrators. What justification
is there for getting rid of badly-
needed teachers while doing
foolish things such as this?
We
have
had
superintendents for decades that
have pursued their own personal
political agendas instead of
student's interests.
Isn’t it time we said no?

Sad to hear of museum funding loss
To the Editor:
I was very sad to read in the
paper that the Morrow County
Museum lost funding and two
great employees. Marsha and
Tami did a great job and I was
fortunate enough to see much of
the love and care they gave to the
Museum. May I say to both of
you, job well done.
The Museum is an asset to the
community, so let's hope funding
come back in the future.
