The Heppner Colts' season
came to an end on Wednesday,
Oct. 20, in the play-offs with a
20-0 loss to Irrigon. the Colts
ended a very successful season
with a 5 and 1 overall record.
Members of the team included
sixth graders - J.C. Sherntt. Kyle
Allstott, Caleb and Casey Maben,
Colton Hanson. Brandon Davis.
Justin Delvonx, Kody Lovgren.
Justin Gregory, Scotty Maker
and Tony Hague wood. Team
managers
were
Jason
Wainwright and Zane Ford-Day.
The Colts were coached by
Kelly Fox, John McCabe and
Rick Paullus.
C-team defeats Stanfield, Sherman
County; loses to Weston-McEwen
Heppner C-team defeated the
Stanfield Tigers. 15-8, 4-15 and
15-3 on October 19.
Genia Grant and Megan Healy
were top scorers in the game,
racking up nine points apiece.
Grant was 100 percent at the
serving line with 10 and Healy
wasll-12. Molly Turrell was
also 100 percent at the serving
line with eight serves for five
points. Nicole Sisk was another
player with 100 percent serving
with four serves and two points.
Nicole Wilson was 7-8 at the
serving line for two points.
Tiffany Matheney was 5-6 at the
serving line for four points. Jesse
Kempas was 100 percent with
four serves and one point. Marcy
Miller was 2-4 at the serving line
for two points.
The Mustangs lost the

Officer Training Corps (ROTC)
