Heppner High class of 1999 has graduation
The Heppner High School
Class o f 1999 graduation
ceremonies took place at the high
school on Saturday, May 29.
Graduation honor speakers
were Tim Dickenson, Jill Barber
and Brooke Boyer. Dickenson,
Barber, Boyer and Kathleen
Greenup were recognized as
honor scholars.
The Heppner High School Band
performed the processional and

Les Payne and Walter Pilgrim.
The slide show was presented
by Sarah Greif, Jaci Hughes,
Brooke Sweeney and Julie
Watkins. Angela Munkers sand,
accompanied by David Bates on
the guitar.
Superintendent Chuck Starr
made
the
affirmation
of
graduation and Ron Anthony and
Morrow County School Board
member Russ Morgan presented
diplomas. The recessional music
was "Walk This Way." Class
motto was, "There is only one
success—to be able to live you
life in your own way."
Grand marshals were Amy
Papineau
and
Jake
Roy.
Programs were distributed by
Stephanie Clough, Macy Rhea,
Ashley Ropp and Allison Sykes.
Ushers were Clint Bellamy,
Chris Bowman, Jeff Currin,
Stanley Cutsforth, Josh Hill,
Mitch Mathews, Corey Miller
and Michael Schonbachler. Leah
Denton and Kim Pointer were in
charge of gifts and Trisha Adams
and Kristen Marshall, flowers.

offering community First Aid
and CPR classes on June 7-8,
from 6-9 p.m. at the Chapter
office located at 148 South
Main, Pendleton.
Fees for the course are $25 for
both components or $15 for one.
Enrollees should arrive by
5:45 p.m. June 7-8, for sign-in.

Heppner Day Care held a
graduation ceremony for its four-
year-old preschool class at the
center on Thursday, May 27.
