The sun was bright and warm
for the weekly shoot of the Mor­
row County Gun Club on Sunday,
April 11, according to Sandi Day.
“The beautiful day brought out the
largest crowd of the year, which
was great since we are nearing
the end of the shooting season,”
she said.
The winners of the first round
from the 16 yard line are as fol­
lows: first Harvey Childers, 22 of
25; second Troy Walker, 20 of 25;
third Bill Schlichting, 19of25.
The winners o f the second
round from the 16 yard line are:
first Harvey Childers, a perfect 25
of 25; second a tie between Jeff
Cutsforth and Mick Sharp, 22 of
25; third Troy Walker, 20 of 25.
The winners of the first round
from 20 yard handicap are as fol­
lows: first Mick Sharp; second a
tie between Harvey Childers and
Bill Schlichting; third a tie between
Mark Schlichting and Sandi Day.
The winners o f the second
round from 20 yard handicap are:
first Jeff Cutsforth; second Bill

Five Annie Oakleys were shot
with Deona Hodges and Travis
Greenup each winning one, and
Harvey Childers, three.
The next scheduled shoot will
be on Sunday, April 18 at noon,
with a family barbecue, kids’ and
ladies’ shoots, Jack and Jills, and
regular trap.
“Barbecued hamburgers and
hot dogs will be provided so bring
a salad, loqd up the family andjoin
us for a afternoon of fun in the
sun," said Day.

a visitor in Bums who brought the
motorcoach facility to Bums-
Hines. We all have to be on our
toes and “market our communi­
ties.” You never know who will
walk through your door.
Secretaries and spouses will be
honored on Tuesday, April 20, at
noon at the Elks with a no-host
luncheon catered by the Elks La­
dies. The music organized by
Ralph Werner will be great enter­
tainment. RSVP to the Chamber
of Commerce, 676-5536, with the
number attending.
On Tuesday, April 27, the
Chamber program will be video
conferencing with John Fletcher,
Blue Mountain Community Col­
lege, and a phone conference with
