The games will begin at 3 p.m. on Friday and will continue through with four straight games. Saturday's games begin at 1 p.m. and will continue through with no break. The games will include varsity boys and girls from the following schools: Klickitat, lone, Enterprise and Spray. A trophy will be presented to the girls’ and boys' champions only. Two plaques will be presented to a girls' and a boys' team and their school for sportsmanship. The teams will be voted on by the officials. A concession stand will be available throughout the tournament The lone Booster Club will also sponsor moderately priced meals including baked potatoes, chili dogs and sub sandwiches. Elks to sponsor giving tree Lutheran Parish live nativity Andraa Mortimore (left) and Linda Kenny hold giving tree toys The Heppner Elks Club and Ladies Elks are sponsoring a Giving Tree dinner on Friday, December 18, at 6 p.m. Anyone bringing a toy (which needs to be unwrapped) will receive a free dinner. The toys will be given to the Neighborhood Center for distribution to children in the south Morrow County area. SCERT applications called for Morrow County is encouraging communities, special districts and non-profit organizations to submit applications for funds through the SCERT process, information and applications can be obtained by contacting Dan Brosnan, Morrow County Commissioner-elect, at (541) 676-5623, P.O. Projects will be evaluated and prioritized by the county court, in cooperation with the Economic Development Committee that consists of representatives from each community in Morrow County.
