Raffle to benefit St. Pat's celebration

Three lone Cardinal varsity
volleyball players were named
to the state 1A all star
volleyball team. The lone team
took first place at the state 1A
tournament held at Lane
Community College at Eugene
Nov. 12-14.
Juniors Nikki McElligott and
Camie Bumght were selected

Thanksgiving
for the all state first team and
senior Niki Sullivan was named
to the all state second team.
Bumght and McElligott were
also named to the Big Sky
District first team. Senior Katie

district
honorable mention.

and Friday, Nov. 26 and 27, to
allow employees to observe the
Thanksgiving holiday.

a.m. to noon and 12:30-4:30

G-T FOOTBALL PICKS CONTEST

Helen Floumoy of Imgon has
donated two award winning
baby christening sets to the St.
Patrick's
Day
Auction
Committee.
The committee will raffle one
of the sets at the Parade of
Lights on December 3 and the
other will be auctioned at the
St. Pat's Auction in March.
The sets include a white
crocheted blanket, dress, bonnet
and booties which received a
blue ribbon at the Morrow
County Fair.
Tickets are on sale for $1 each
at Heppner TV, Twice Upon a
Time. . . and from St. Pat’s
Auction Committee members:

Registration set at BMCC
Registration appointments for
winter term may be made
beginning Wednesday, Dec. 2, in
person at Blue Mountain
Community College.
Students planning to return to
BMCC for winter term or who
have recently taken placement
tests are encouraged to make
their registration appointment as
soon as possible. Phone-in
appointments may be made
staiting Thursday, December 3.
Appointments are made for
January 4 or 5 with the student's
academic advisor. Winter term
classes start Wednesday, January
6 .
For students who will be new
to BMCC and who have never
attended college, the registration
process starts with placement
testing.
The Advising and
Testing Office in Pioneer Hall
offers placement tests on
Monday and Thursday at 9 a.m.
Anyone interested in attending
BMCC and taking more than
eight credit hours of course work
is required to take the placement
test.
Appointments are not
necessary; there is a $ 1 0 testing
fee.
Registration appointments for
returning
students, transfer
students or anyone who has
already completed the placement
test may be made by calling the
Advising and Testing Office at
541/278-5929 or 541/278-5930.

gridiron knowledge by picking winners of games in both the pros and college.
