Boardman Police Dept, a report
of a six year old boy who hadn’t
come home from school and
wasn’t at the bus stop. He was
located 10 minutes later by his
father.
MCSO dispatched to the Hepp-
ner Police Dept, a report of three
911 calls. It turned out to be kids
playing and were given a talking
to by the Heppner police.
MCSO deputy, Oregon State
Police responded to a report of
two young females driving a sil­
ver compact car passing over the
double yellow lines and passing on
the right. The parents of the girls
were advised.
MCSO dispatched to the
Boardman Police Dept, a report
of a huge bonfire in the backyard
o f a Boardman residence. It
turned out to be a controlled bum.
Sept. 29 -MCSO dispatched to
Oregon Dept, of Fish and
Wildlife a report of a small buck
hit by a car set off the road if
wanted for salvage.
To Irrigon ambulance and OSP
a report of a two vehicle
accident.
MCSO received report of cars
blocking access to Hwy. 730 at
11th street in Irrigon.
MCSO dispatched to
Boardman Fire Department a
report of a vehicle on fire by
pumps at Boardman BP. Fire
was put out.
MCSO received request for
extra patrol on Hwy 730 by the
Irrigon BP, post office and
school. Traffic doesn't slow
down for school zone and a child
was almost hit.
MCSO dispatched to
Boardman Police Department a
report of kids who were
skateboarding. A man ran them
off, but parents came back upset.
MCSO dispatched to Heppner
Ambulance, EMT a request for
an ambulance for a person with
an unknown illness. He was
transported to PMH.
MCSO received a report of a
horse out on Strawberry Lane off
Bombing Range.
MCSO received a report of a
deputy hitting a pheasant with his
patrol car which sustained a
small amount of damage.
MCSO dispatched to
Boardman Fire Department chief
a report of a large fire along
Miller Lane and Canal. Turned
out to be a controlled bum.
MCSO dispatched to Boardman
Police Dept, a report of a male
harassing a woman in an ongoing
problem.
Sept. 30 - MCSO received a
report of two vehicles broken
into in mill parking lot. Two
pistols and unknown other items
were stolen.
MCSO dispatched to HPD a
report of someone in an empty
house next door.
MCSO received report of
harassing phone calls to an lone
residence.
MCSO received report from a
lone woman that her husband
was outside fighting with another
guy with a gun involved. Daniel
Brian Williams, 29, was cited for
criminal trespass, II, assault IV
and harassment.
MCSO received report of an
ATV taken from Strcbin Farms
in Irrigon.
MCSO and OSP responded to a
report of a person driving
intoxicated and people in two
other cars following the first car,
also possibly intoxicated. Caller
said that the person in the first
car had been harassing him at his
home and work.
Oct. 1 - MCSO dispatched to
BPD a report of a break in a
padlocked toolbox at Port of
Morrow.
MCSO received report of mail
rifled in a mail box. Neighbors
mail had also been rifled. In
Heppner received another report
of a mail box tampered with and
broken but no mail missing in
Heppner.
MCSO received report of a
found Rottweiler on Buttercreek.
MCSO received report of a
window shot out in Boardman.
MCSO dispatched to HPD a
report of All Saints Episcopal
Church vandalized with paint in
Heppner.
MCSO dispatched to BPD a
report of a stray wolf-dog in a
yard.
MCSO received report of bird
hunters parked at gravel pits in
lone.
MCSO received request to
deliver an emergency message
to a woman in Imgon that her
mother had had a heart attack.
MCSO dispatched to Imgon
ambulance a report of a motor
vehicle accident between a van
and a dump truck. Imgon Fire
Dept, was on the scene and no
ambulance was needed, but
requested an officer.
MCSO dispatched to OSP a
report of an older man on 1-84
holding a "please call police"
sign.
MCSO dispatched to BPD a 911
call traced to the Outback Apts.
Everything was OK. Kids were
playing on the phone.
MCSO received a report of
four dogs killing sheep in
Irrigon.
MCSO dispatched to BPD a
report of a white sports car that
took Port of Morrow exit doing
90-100 mph and tailgating.
MCSO received report of
hunters trespassing and camping
on property in lone. They drove
through a gate and did some
damage.
MCSO received report of
campers at gravel pits in lone.
MCSO received report of a boy
who found a pager that keeps
going off. The caller said the
numbers displayed sometimes
spelled out words.
MCSO dispatched to BPD,
OSP a drive off from Boardman
Texaco.
MCSO dispatched to HPD,
OSP and MCSO a request to
deliver an emergency message to
a man hunting in the area that his
mother is in the hospital.
Oct 3. - MCSO received a
report of a pickup vandalized at
comer of Sandhollow and Kenny
Rd. with tires slashed, windows
broken and stereo gone.
MCSO dispatched to OSP a
report of a person refusing to let
another person drive up Phillipi
Canyon.
MCSO dispatched to USFS a
report of two trees on fire near
Cutsforth Park. Fire was under
control, but caller couldn't
continue to fight the fire or
monitor it. USFS in Heppner
will handle it.
MCSO dispatched to PMH a
report of a man with a nosebleed
25 miles north of Spray. His
nose had been bleeding for about
two hours and he couldn't get it
to stop. His wife was driving
him to Heppner. he was advised
to keep pressure on and
conference with PMH.
MCSO dispatched to OSP a
report of hunters hunting in a no­
hunting area who already have
one deer on Upper Rhea Creek.
MCSO dispatched to HPD a
report of hunters behind
Columbia Basin. Hunters were
on their own property.
MCSO dispatched to Mitchell
ambulance a report of a 53-year-
old male shot in the buttocks. He
was transported by private
vehicle via hwy 26 to Prineville.
Mitchell ambulance met then and
he was transported to Prineville.
MCSO dispatched to OSP a
report of hunters going in an area
legally but dragged a buck out of
an area that had no public access
in Heppner area.
MCSO received report of
people hunting from the road in
Lexington area.
MCSO dispatched to HPD a
request for an officer for a found
key.
MCSO dispatched to Umatilla
County Sheriff a report from a
woman that her boyfriend was
lost on road 039 in Heppner area,
he had left his map in his vehicle.
UCSO located the hunter and he
was in Umatilla County, not
Morrow County.
MCSO dispatched to BPD a
report of a vehicle hit the
previous night in Lamb Weston
parking lot. Complainant said he
had a witness and a suspect.
MCSO received a report from a
man of an unwanted subject at a
Boardman residence who had
threatened him.
Oct. 4- MCSO dispatched to
BPD & MCSO responded to a
report of neighbors arguing and
keeping caller's baby awake in
Boardman.
MCSO dispatched to BPD,
MCSO and OSP to a report of a
man who had woken a couple up
in Irrigon by pounding on their
door. Man appeared to have
been beaten up. The man at the
residence gave injured man ride
home and was shot at several
times by four males. His pickup
was hit.
MCSO received report of an
audible alarm at an Imgon
residence. Turned out to be
false.
MCSO received request for an
extra patrol at Boardman
residence while husband was out
of town. A person in a brown
Toyota had been hanging around
the residence.
MCSO, OSP and Boardman
ambulance responded to a report
of a man possibly down on side
of road on 1-86. Turned out to be
a man with a sick dog.
MCSO, HPD responded to a
report of a lock cut off a shop
and shop vandalized with spray
paint.
MCSO, Hermiston PD and
Imgon ambulance responded to a
report of a man with a possible
heart attack. He was transported
to Good Shepherd Hospital but
didn't have a heart attack.
MCSO received report from
GSH of a patient that had been
shot in the lower left leg,
supposedly accidental.
MCSO dispatched to OSP a
report from a man at Anson
Wright Park that his son was lost
on the 2145 Rd.
It was
determined that it was Wheeler
Co. OSP called off search as his
vehicle had been removed and
man was the only one who had
access to it.
MCSO and BPD received
report of three subjects shooting
ducks at west end of Boardman
Marina. One man was cited for
hunting in a prohibited area.
MCSO received report of a
person driving carelessly and
spinning rocks on another
vehicle.
MCSO received report of a
person's brother removing a
vehicle from property without
permission.
MCSO dispatched to OSP a
third hand report of a woman in a
van who had driven in the creek
at the mouth of Fulton Canyon
and had threatened to commit
suicide. The woman reported
missing out of Gresham, was
okay but transported by OSP to
the Dalles.
Oct. 5 - MCSO received request
for officer to cite a student from
having tobacco on a school bus.
MCSO received report of
overdue hunters, hunting in
Notchcreek Meadows area near
Kinzua.

at the Rebekah Hall, preceded by
achili bean supper with combread
and relish trays. The party was
held starting at 7:30 p.m.
Winning prizes were: women's
high-Marlene Grey, second high-

Clarence Buchanan, second high-
Tom Wilson; and traveling.
Marlene Grey and Delpha Jones.
Nina Harshman won the door
prize.
Hostesses for the party were
Luella Tay lor and Delpha Jones.
Recent visitors at the Jones
home to attend the funeral ser­
vices o f their granddaughter

mother, Charlene Whitney of
Portland; uncle and aunt Rick and
Kathy Whitney and daughter

Vancouver; Sheila Finley o f
American Forks. UT.; Chuck

returned to her home on Monday.
Bob Taylor spent the week­
end in Fossil where he enjoyed
some hunting and visiting.
