handling or dispatching the
following business over the past
several weeks:
MCSO received a request for
a deputy. A woman kicked and
yelled at her husband;
MCSO received a report of a
150 gallon captive airtank, 160’
of rope and an underground pump
' stolen from a porch in Irrigon
sometime the previous week;
MCSO dispatched to the
Boardman Police Dept, a report
o f a man taking his sister’s So
cial Security check and not giv
ing it back;
MCSO received a request for
an officer concerning a dispute
over a fender-bender in Irrigon;
MCSO received a report of
speeding on Dee Cox Road;
M CSO dispatched to the
Heppner Police Dept, a request
for an officer for a man who re
fused to leave the NW Motel in
Heppner.
April 2: MCSO received a re
port of a shotgun stolen from a
home shop in Lexington;
MCSO received a report that a

. husband’s pickup before she left
for work in her car;
MCSO received a report of a
white dog with a black face show
ing up at a residence two miles
south of Heppner;
MCSO received a report of two
horses found in Boardman;
MCSO received a report o f a
chestnut gelding found on the
Condon/Heppner Highway;
MCSO received a request for
a deputy to pick up evidence from
a case, possibly marijuana with
tobacco;
MCSO dispatched to the Or
egon State Police a report of a red
cowdog chasing cattle in Irrigon;
MCSO dispatched to the
Heppner Police Dept, a report of
someone calling another person
in Heppner, accusing him of steal
ing fishing rods and camping gear
and threatening to beat him up if
he caught him alone;
MCSO received a report of a
woman harassing another woman
in Imgon.
April 3: MCSO deputy and
Oregon State Police responded to
a report of a man vandalizing an
other man’s pickup. The man said
that the second man threatened to
get a boat that the first man
bought from a woman known to
both of them;
MCSO dispatched to the-
Boardman Police Dept, a report
of an eight year old afraid to go
home after his father allegedly
kicked him in the side;
MCSO deputy and Boardman
Police Dept, responded to a report
of a disturbance involving alco
hol and pushing and shoving at
Boardman. Mary VanGorder, 31,
was arrested for Assault IV;
MCSO received a report from
a male subject that his mother and
grandmother had gone out to din
ner and had not returned and he
was scared. He had called all the
restaurants and not found them.
He called back and said they had
returned;
MCSO received a report of 911
lines down in Condon, Spray,
Fossil and Mitchell. PTI was no
tified. An optic cable was down;
MCSO received a report o f a
dog chasing a neighbor’s sheep;
MCSO received a report of a
possible breaking and entering at
the Boardman Chip Reload Plant;
MCSO received a report that
an eight year old shot out the win
dow of a van in Irrigon with a BB
gun;
MCSO received a report o f
phone service restored;
MCSO received a report o f
items stolen from a boat while it
was dry-docked in Irrigon;
MCSO dispatched to the
Heppner Police Dept, a report of
a vehicle hit by a paint ball pro
jectile in Heppner;
MCSO dispatched to the
Boardman Police Dept, a report
of a field fire off Kunze Road;
MCSO received a report of a
man driving on the railroad track
yelling and screaming at a woman
near lone;
MCSO received a report of a
woman in lone locking her keys
in her vehicle;
MCSO received a report of the
cleaning crew at Central Red
Apple in Heppner setting off the
audible alarm.
April 5: MCSO deputy and
Oregon State Police responded to
a report of an intoxicated driver
who left the BP station eastbound
on 1-84;
MCSO received a report of il
legal dumping on Balm Fork
Road near the lodge;
MCSO dispatched to the
Boardman Police Dept, a report
o f an auto accident at Wilson
Road Trailer Court in Boardman;
MCSO deputy, Oregon State
Police and Irrigon ambulance re
sponded to a report of an auto
accident with injuries and block
ing traffic on Highway 730 and
8th West. All victims refused
transport;
MCSO dispatched to the
Boardman Police Dept, a report
of visitation problems between a
couple in Boardman;
MCSO was advised of a girl,
approximately 12 years old with
a backpack, on 1-84 eastbound on-
ramp;
MCSO dispatched to the
Boardman Police Dept, a report
of a reckless driver on Columbia
Avenue and Port of Morrow;
MCSO received a report of a
fight in progress with several
people involved at the Irrigon
Mobile Court;
MCSO dispatched to the
Heppner Police Dept, a 911 call
with a child crying, but unable to
hear what he was saying. The
child hung up. The call was traced
to a residence in Heppner. The
child was just playing;
MCSO received a report of a
motor vehicle accident in Imgon.
It was a non-injury accident with
lines down;
MCSO received a report of an
animal carcass in the water at the
Marina Park in Irrigon about 20’
from a sandbox in the water along
the beach;
MCSO received a report of a
cow out near the Jordan Elevator;
MCSO received a report a
shoplifter fleeing on foot away
from the Sentry M arket in
Boardman;
MCSO received a report of a
man with a strong odor of alco
hol calling a clerk at At The Mov
ies in Boardman and then left.
The man was approached and said
he would drive home if he wanted
to.
April 6: MCSO dispatched to
the Oregon State Police a report
of a domestic dispute in progress.
One person said he thought he
heard a shot fired;
MCSO received a report of a
woman receiving drugs in the
mail. The woman believed she
know who they were from;
MCSO received a report of a
student in possession of mari
juana at Columbia Middle School
in Irrigon and a student who may
have committed a sexual offence;
MCSO dispatched to the Or
egon State Police a report from a
woman that her landlord shut off
the power and water and locked
her stuff out. The woman has kids
and requested assistance;
MCSO d ispatched to the
Boardman Police Dept, a report
of an alleged abuse of two chil
dren by their babysitter;
MCSO d ispatched to the
Boardman Police Dept, a report
of a male subject walking around
Sandpiper Apts, with a rifle. The
man had on a baseball cap, black
leather jacket, blue jeans and dark
glasses.
April 7: MCSO dispatched to
the Boardman Police Dept, a re
quest for an officer in Boardman
for a neighbor’s dog that was
barking. The man dropped the
complaint because he didn’t think
the police should ask for his date
of birth and such for this type of
call;
MCSO received a report from
a woman in Boardman. She set
off bug bombs in her house which
set off the fire alarm;
MCSO received a report of
harassing phone calls in lone;
MCSO dispatched to the
Irrigon Fire Dept, a report of a
neighbor burning tires;
MCSO dispatched to the Or
egon State Police a report of a
speeding semi-truck on 1-84 west
bound at Boardman;
MCSO dispatched to the
Boardman Police Dept, a report
of a panic alarm at a Boardman
residence;
MCSO received a report of a
radar detector stolen in Irrigon.
The man it was stolen from thinks
the people who stole it were do
ing a drug deal;
MCSO received a request for
information on how to deal with
a possible missing runaway;
MCSO received a report of ju
veniles running around the neigh
borhood causing a ruckus at
Country Garden Estates;
MCSO received a report of two
children missing from the Imgon
City Park. The children showed
up later;
MCSO received a report of a
missing 14 year old in Lexington.
The girl was believed to be with
an adult. The girl showed up later;
Boardman Police Dept, and
Boardman ambulance responded
to a report of a 51 year old female
diabetic who was unconscious.
The woman recovered and the
ambulance was cancelled;
MCSO dispatched to the
Boardman Public Works a report
o f the basement at Sandpiper
Apts, was flooded;
MCSO deputy and Irrigon
ambulance responded to a report
of an eight day old baby who was
not breathing;
MCSO dispatched to the
Boardman Police Dept, a request
for assistance for a 20 year old
man in w ithdraw al. He had
walked away from detox, and
they wouldn’t Jake him back un
less 72 hours had passed.
April 8: MCSO received a re
port of two carloads of people
drinking at the wildlife refuge;

16 year old boy in lone pulled a
knife on his father and threatened
to kill him. The son was arrested
for Menacing and lodged at the
Umatilla County Sheriffs Office
Juvenile Detention Center.
Apnl 9: MCSO received a re
port of an audible alarm at Cas
cade Specialities. It turned out to
be an employee error;
MCSO received a report of
sheep on the Bombing Range
Road, milepost 74, seven miles
north of Alpine Road;
MCSO received a report of a
found horse in Imgon;
MCSO dispatched to the
Boardman Police Dept, a report
of loud music;
MCSO received a report of a
smoldering fire near Highway
206, 1/4 mile form Ruggs. It was
out by the time the Heppner and
lone fire depts. got there.
April 10: MCSO received a
report of a disturbance at a resi
dence in Irrigon. A 14 year old
girl was out of control;
MCSO deputy and Oregon
State Police responded to a report
o f a man who had broken win
dows out of a woman’s car with
a metal bar;
H eppner Police Dept, and
Heppner ambulance responded to
a report of a man in possible dia
betic shock in Heppner;
MCSO received a report of a
burglar alarm at Heppner High
School;
MCSO dispatched to the
Heppner Police and Fire depts. a
report of a Level 3 flood alert. All
was okay;
MCSO dispatched to the
Boardman Police Dept, a report
of a man harassing a woman at
the Sentry Market in Boardman;
MCSO dispatched to the
Heppner Police Dept, a report of
two suspicious vehicles parked
behind Farley’s Garage;
MCSO received a report of a
car being broken into in front of
the m anager’s of the Country
Garden Estates;
MCSO dispatched to the
Heppner Police Dept, a report of
a possible drug deal going down
on Gilmore Street in Heppner;
MCSO dispatched to the

a report of a 50 year old diabetic
who was unresponsive but breath
ing. The patient was transported
to Good Shepherd Community
Hospital in Hermiston.
April 11: MCSO received a
report of an intrusion alarm at
Potlatch. The alarm was can
celled;
MCSO received a report of a
van broken into with the windows
broken and the stereo stolen at
C ountry G arden Estates in
Irrigon;
MCSO received a report of lit
tering at the Imgon Marina. Four
bags of garbage were dumped at
the phone booth at the Marina.
Names and addresses were found
inside the bags;
MCSO dispatched to the City
o f Heppner a request for the city
to shut off the water main so work
could be done at a house;
MCSO received a report of
people building chemical bombs
and exploding them in Lexington;
MCSO received a report of a
parking problem in Irrigon.
Neighbors parked in the front and
back of a car. The car couldn’t get
out and the neighbor wouldn’t
move the cars;

Health responded to a report of a
male subject threatening to kill
himself;
MCSO received a request for
information on a skeleton that
was discovered. The woman who
called said a friend of hers had
been missing since 1994;
MCSO dispatched to the Or
egon State Police a report o f a
male hitchhiker who was jump
ing out in front of cars trying to
get them to stop;
MCSO received a report of a
suspicious vehicle in Imgon;
MCSO dispatched to the
Boardman Police Dept, a report
o f tires burned in a yard in
Boardman;
MCSO deputy arrested
Charles E. Flanagan, 44, for Driv
ing While Under the Influence of
Intoxicants;
MCSO received a report o f a
vehicle hit-and-run;
MCSO deputy and Oregon
State Police responded to a report
from a little boy who said his dad
was hurting his mom, hitting her,
at Imgon Mobile Court. Dale J.
Richie, 33, was arrested, for As
sault IV Domestic and Menacing.

a request for an ambulance for a
man who had fallen and who had
recently had back surgery;
MCSO received a request for
an officer to relay a death mes
sage to the next of kin in Imgon;

assault that allegedly occurred in
the Heppner area a week previ
ous;

1, at 9:30 a.m. at the Oregon
Wheat Commission offices at
1200 Naito Parkway, Suite 520,
Portland.
