College has announced its winter
term 1998 president’s list, dean’s
list and honor roll. To be on the
president’s list, students must at
tain a grade point average (GPA)
of 3.85 or higher. To qualify for
the dean’s list, students must re
ceive a GPA of 3.4-3.84. Students

Portland State releases honor roll
Portland State University has
released its winter quarter honor
roll.
Joe Healy of Heppner qualified
for the dean's list in the school of
business. To qualify for the
dean's list, a student must
achieve a 3.75 grade point
average based on 12 or more
hours taken in one quarter.
St. Patrick's Senior Center
Bulletin Board
There were 76 people over 60 and 12 under 60 present for the
senior Easter dinner April 8 and 19 meals were home delivered
Members of the Lutheran Church served. The Senior Center Board
met following the meal. Bingo was played from 1-3 p.m.
The menu for Wed., April 22, is liver with bacon, augratin
potatoes, peas, rolls and apple dumplings. Members of the United
Methodist Church will serve. Bingo will be played at 1 p.m.
Thursday, Apnl 9, the senior bus, with Ed Baker driving, took nine
passengers to Hermiston for lunch at the senior meal site. It was
another delicious Easter dinner. The bus will go to Pendleton
Friday, April 24. Passengers will have lunch at the senior center
and have time for shopping after and sight seeing on the way home.
The sign up sheet is in the Senior Center office or call the office.

There were 25 present for the senior breakfast Friday, April 10.
The menu for breakfast April 17 will be eggs/sausage/ biscuit, hot
and cold cereal, fruit, orange juice, milk and coffee.
Pinochle was played Tuesday and Friday afternoon at the Senior
Center.
An orientation meeting for the office receptionist volunteers will
be held in the office Thursday, Apnl 16, at 1:30 p.m. The senior
center will welcome new volunteers.
The Bank of Eastern Oregon is offering an opportunity for their
customers to have photos taken at the Senior Center April 30 and
May 1.
Other dates to remember are as follows: exercise Tuesday and
Thursday at 10 a m. We could also start having movies again on
Sunday evening, if there enough seniors who wish to do so.
