Nimitz, the lead ship of the USS
Nimitz Battle Group.
Matzen’s ship, homeported in
Bremerton, WA, will shift its
home to Norfolk, VA when it fin
ishes this deployment in March.
The shift will allow USS Nimitz
to undergo repairs and to refuel
its nuclear reactors at Newport
News Shipyard.
Matzen joined the Navy in
February 1994.

accountants exam given by the
American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants.
Ehardt is the daughter of Larry
and Kathy Fetsch of Ames,
Oklahoma. Larry Fetsch was the
former Morrow County Sheriff.
Ehardt attended school at lone
High School and graduated from
Enid High School, Enid,
Oklahoma. She graduated from
Phillips University at Enid in
December of 1996. She and her
husband, David, liver near Ames,
Oklahoma, with their two
children.
