Heppner good place to live and work
To the Editor:
My husband, Dale, is teaching
at Heppner High School this year.
After two weeks living in a mo
tel, we moved into a home last
Sunday. Two days later, Dale
came home from school with a
wonderful box of goodies that had
been left for us. What a nice sur
prise and welcome to Heppner.
We had left a garden in
Tonasket with ripening tomatoes,
carrots, etc., and the fresh veg
etables in the basket were so nice
to receive.
Although the card w asn ’t
signed, we understand the Hepp
ner Garden Club might be in
volved. You reaffirm ed that
Heppner is indeed a good place
to live and work.
Sincerely,
(s) Ann Johnson
