The North Lex Livestock 4-H
club brought home an array of
purple ribbons and belt buckles
from the Oregon Wheat League
Show in Tygh Valley, June 1-4.
Kara Miller and Jessica, Shelby
and Cameron Krebs attended the
show and each emerged a cham­
pion in contests. Shelby Krebs
exhibited the grand champion
market hog, and Kara Miller fol­
lowed her with the reserve cham­
pion hog. Miller was also the
champion senior swine showman
and overall champion senior
showman. She achieved this by
advancing to the senior round-
robin and showing beef and sheep
as well as swine against the other
senior champion showmans.
Cameron Krebs was the junior
champion swine showman and
also had the opportunity to com-
