The amount sought by the fund raising group, the People for the Pool (PFP), has increased finish. Deadline to buy a brick for the pool is Saturday, May 31. The cement being poured will be under the bleachers and VIP seating. VIP seating is now underway with those seats sold in lots of 10. After the assembly parents and community members were invited to tour elementary classrooms where students displayed recent class projects. TTie junior and senior high The lone Schools held a combined open house and technology night recently. The evening began with an assembly in the school cafeteria where students in kindergarten through fifth grade and their teachers told about one of their favorite books. All were dressed in costumes depicting a character in their book. The elementary school had a month long emphasis on reading for pleasure during the month of April. Doors in the elementary building were decorated to resemble the cover of a book by famous author and illustrator. Dr. Seuss. One day students and staff earned a book everywhere with them and when librarian. Charity McElligott announced "read-out" everyone stopped and read their book. Students and teachers remarked that this made classrooms were open to display new school technology. Teachers assisted visitors in understanding and using the new technology resources available to students and teachers in Morrow County. resignation April 11. May 12, has indicated, by taking no official action, that they will not pursue negotiations with Dr. Bill Bitsas.
