St. Patrick's Senior Center
_______ Bulletin Board_______
There were 75 in attendance at the senior dinner April 16 and
nine meals were home delivered. Members of the Episcopal
Church served.
The menu for the birthday dinner April 30 will be breakfast
casserole, potato patties, peaches, biscuits and orange juice.
Members of the First Christian Church will serve.
Thursday, April 17, at 5:30 a.m., 10 sleepy seniors got on the
senior bus and headed for Portland. They joined the Boardman
bus at Boardman and the two busses traveled together to the Expo
Center to view the Smithsonian exhibition. It is fabulous, and we
were very fortunate to be able to see it. There was too big a crowd
and too little time, but it was well worth the trip.
Friday afternoon there were two tables of pinochle played.
Sunday four people watched the movie, "Folks".
The church appreciation dinner is Thursday evening, April 24, at
6 p.m.. A good turn out is anticipated. The Seniors appreciate all
those who have so generously give their time to serve and clean up
at the senior dinners.
The bus leaves for the trip to the Hermiston Meal Site Thursday
at 10:30 a.m. The bus will travel to Spray at 10 a.m. Thursday,
May 8. Sign up sheets are in the Senior Center office.
Other dates to remember are as follows: Tuesday, exercise, 10
a.m.; Wed., blood pressures taken, 11 a.m., senior meal, noon;
Friday, cards, 2 p.m.; Sunday, movie, 7 p.m.
