Once again, carnival has
come and gone but not without
the help of some pretty great
volunteers.
We had a great group of
decorators this year-Patti
Allstott, Bobette Lovgren, Kel
ly Boyer, Tonia Adams, Stacey
W ainwright, Kim Armato,
Kathy Britt, you ladies did an
awesome job!
We would like to thank Leah
Brosnan for the use of her
karaoke machine which work
ed great for the cakewalk. Tim
and Terra Adams for donating
the hotdog buns, we really ap
preciate your support.
All the good cooks who
brought the wonderful pies for
the concession stand-they were
very popular!
As in the past, we had a great
response for our cakewalk
booth. The donated items were
so creative-thanks for being so
generous. The kids always look
forward to this booth.
We tried a new booth this
year, the "fortu n e teller”
booth. This booth was fun to
do, but all the success goes to
one terrific lady, Marti Mitchel,
who "got roped into" being
our fortune teller. She did a
better job than we had ever
hoped for and kept the kids
coming back for more; thanks,
Marti. You are a friend to us
and the kids!
Thanks, Linda and Georgia
for getting us through another
"carnival w eek" of questions
and "w ants"-Kelly and Bill-
Dan for being so cooperative.
We really do appreciate your
muscles!
Last, but certainly not least,
a HUGE thank you to one of
the most special people in
tow n-M erry Brannon-once
again she put her twisted mind
to work and came up with
another masterpiece. I can't im
agine carnival without her and
her great ideas. She puts her
own family on hold and spends
countless hours putting up the
Haunted House. Merry really
deserves to hear some big
thank yous from the communi
ty for all she does to support
our kids. 1 promise to help
when Drew finally gets in
school!
Thanks again. Looking for
ward to next year. Thanks to all
the parents' club members and
volunteers who stayed to help
clean up!
