Local museum
sci-fi exhibit
There may be Tye-fighters
and X-wings flying around the
Morrow County Museum, or
possibly Buck Rogers or Kling-
ons. When is the last time you
took a trip into the future? The
museum will be hosting a tem
porary exhibit of science fiction
collectibles from local sci-fi
buffs May 5-25.
The sci-fi group is in the
beginning stages of creating a
club that will meet monthly and
share interests with other sci-
fiers in the community. They
are looking for students and
adults to join in this oppor
tunity.
On Saturday, May 18, from
2-4 p.m., there will be an open
house at the museum and an
opportunity to meet with
fellow sci-fiers.
Anyone who has a sci-fi col
lectible to loan to this exhibit or
anyone interested in sci-fi
books, movies or collectibles
should call the museum,
676-5524 days, or 676-9046
evenings.
