(BMCC) will get underway in

Starting and Sustaining a
Home Business is a two-week
seminar class scheduled for
Wednesday, April 10 and 24
from 7-9 p.m at the Morrow
County School District office in
Lexington. The first session will
feature a local home business
woman, Anne Beard, who will
share her version of the trials
and tribulations of running a
business from home. The se
cond session will feature a re
presentative from BMCC's De
velopment Center who will
provide information on some of
the technical "getting started"
aspects of any home business.
Tuition is $20 per person.
An array of computer classes
are offered including Multi-
media and the Mac, Extending
the Use of the Macintosh, In
troduction to Windows, Begin
ning Computer, Working with
Microsoft Works, and Surfing
the Internet. Classes vary in
length and cost. Call Morter for
more information.

completion of the class, which
stresses safety, will satisfy pro

cost of the class does not,
however, cover the cost of the
actual permit. The class is
slated for April 20 and 27 from
9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the school
district office in Lexington and
a firing session will be held on
the second Saturday. Cost is
$30 tuition plus a $5 lab fee.
Preregistration is required.
Two emplyment skills work
shops will be offered on Wed
nesday, April 10, taught by Sue
Neiderwerfer of Pendleton.
The morning session, Manag
ing Conflict, is designed to help
people resolve conflict both on
and off the job. The afternoon
session will be Fabulous Cus
tomer Service, which will cover
many aspects of providing
good customer relations.
