Christy Crowell gave a report
of the book, "The Romanovs-
The Final Chapter", by Robert
K. Massee. This was written as
a result of new information on
the fate of the Romanovs (the
Russian royal family who were
murdered in 1917) which was
discovered in the early 1990s.
She said that for many years it
was too- dangerous to look in
to the family's disappearance.
A mass grave with the bodies
was discovered in the 1980s in
Siberia. However, no one ac
tually dug up the bodies until
the early 1990s. By DNA
testing, it was determined that
the seven bodies were mem
bers of the Romanov family.
They did not find the other two
members, Anna or the son and
heir, who must have been
buried in another spot, said
Crowell.
