Engagement
Spray Rodeo set for May 25-26
The 19% Spray Rodeo will be
held Saturday and Sunday,
May 25-26 with the Eastern
Oregon Half-Marathon set for
May 25.
The stock contractor will be
Craig “ B o'' Pinz's P9 Rodeos
from Parma, Idaho. The an­
nouncer will be Jake Gross-
miller from The Dalles. Jim
Stirewalt will be grand marshal
and “ O ld S p ice" from Red­
mond will provide the music
for the Rodeo Kick-off dance
Saturday, March 30 and the Fri­
day and Saturday night dances
during the rodeo.
Queen tryouts for the rodeo
will be March 30 with the
crowning that evening during
the dance. For more informa­

their daughter, Jenni Lynn, to Matt Alan Benedict o f Pendleton.
Jenni graduated from H eppner High School in 1993 and at­
tended Blue Mountain Community College. She is em ployed at
Inland Empire Bank at Stanfield.
Matt is the son o f Bruce and Sue Benedict o f Milwaukie. He
graduated from Rex Putnam High School at M ilwaukie in 1987
and from Portland Community College in 1992. H e is em ployed
with the Pendleton Fire Department.
The couple plans a M ay 25 w edding at St. M ary's Catholic
Church at Pendleton.

after major surgery in The
Dalles.

home after spending several

Hospital.

grange that Bobbi Jo Medlock

Charles Hospital in Bend suf­
fering from meningitis. Since
then she has returned to her
home where she is recuperat­
ing.
-:- H olly Rebekah Lodge will
meet Thursday for the regular
meeting with the DDP Rhonda
Davis from Hermiston making
a visit. A potluck dinner, with
the O d dfellow s in charge, is
planned for the evening. Davis
will be present to qualify the of­
ficers for the 1996 year.

supper was held Saturday
evening at Rebekah Hall. W in ­
