The Mustangs used balanced scoring, good rebounding and a tough defense to dominate the same team that beat Hepp­ ner in the Christmas tourna­ ment cham pionship game earlier this season. Heppner was down by one point at the end of the first quarter, but outscored Pilot Rock 21-8 in the second quarter to pull away. The Mustangs never looked back. Everyone scored for the Mustangs: Ployhar, Matteson, Watkins, and Michael, 2 points; Burnside and Koffler, 1 point; Schlaich and Sykes, 11 points; Schonbachler, 6 points; Doher­ ty, 3; Hubert, 16 points. The scheduled guest speaker will be Todd Parker, an asso­ ciate professor of ancient scrip­ ture from Brigham Young Uni- versity. His topic will be "The Keystone, the Capstone and the Cornerstone: Tools for Spiritual Survival in the Last Days." Selected scriptures from the Book of Mormon and Doctrine and Covenants will be present­ ed. Discussion will focus on ap­ plication of these scriptures to the present time, with suppor­ ting statements from latter-day apostles and prophets. The public is invited to at­ tend.
