CBEC adds drop box at Heppner
The Columbia Basin Electric
Company (CBEC) office in
Heppner has added an addi
tional convenience for their
customers-the office now has
an outside pay station.
"As always, we welcome
those who desire to come into
the office and say 'hello' or con
duct their business in person,
but if the weather is bad or if
it is difficult for them to comp
into the office, they can make
payments directly from their
car," said CBEC manager Fred
Toombs. Toombs said CBEC
plans to see how the new sta
tion works out. If it works well,
he said, CBEC will provide the
same thing at the Condon of
fice in the future.
CBEC requests that cash pay
ments not be made in this sta
tion. Those with cash payments
are asked to come in the office
so they can receive a receipt
upon payment.
