Pioneer Memorial Hospital,
Heppner, Oregon provides this
notice of the availability of un
compensated services in accor
dance with regulations pro
mulgated by the Secretary of
Health and Human Services,
set forth in 42 CFR, part 124.
Federal law requires that
Pioneer Memorial Hospital pro
vide a reasonable amount of
care without charge to people
who cannot afford care.
Service that are eligible in
clude inpatient acute care and
outpatient care at the Pioneer
Memorial Hospital.
Eligibility recipients will be
determined on a first come,
first serve basis until the alloca
tion is made for the year.
Criteria for determining
eligibility:
Individuals will be eligible for
uncompensated care on a first
come, first serve basis, if their
annual family income is at or
below the following amounts..
The application can be pickup
at the Business/Admitting of
fice or at the Hospital Nurses
station.

the Morrow County Tourism
Committee. Pictures are to be
no smaller than 3 x 5 inches and
no larger than 8 x 10 inches, in
color or black and white.
Photos may be of your down
town, tourism sites, communi
ty events, community premis
es, or scenic landscapes. Stop
by the Chamber Office or city
halls in Heppner, lone, Irrigon,
or Boardman for more informa
tion. Local photographers are
the best when it comes to pro
moting our county. All photos
entered will be credited to
photographers if used in
brochures or promotions. All
ages are welcome to enter. The
deadline is June 15.
Clean your closets, the
Neighborhood Center is plan
ning a monthly Saturday Mar
ket. Individuals and organiza
tions may rent table space to
sell their white elephants,
crafts, fresh produce, etc. Now
there's an opportunity for rural
residents to get in on a "yard
sale". Everyone can benefit
from this project including
Main Street businesses. Visitors
attend flea markets, then
browse through town, eat, visit
the museum, etc. Who knows,
some musicians may even
surface.
Apply for the rural futures
forum. Interested in being a
leader in sustaining and pro
moting the economic health of
our community? This is an op
portunity to meet people from
other rural communities, share
information, learn together,
hear keynote speakers, and
have fun. There are four three-
day sessions beginning in
September and ending in
January. Visit with Bobjepsen,
Rollie Marshall or Claudia
Hughes, if interested. Four to
six people from Heppner will
make up the team.
Next week: bring a small
business owner or your
secretary to Chamber as a
guest. They are the backbone of
Heppner.

Fair Board
Roger Cash
New Morrow County Fair
Board member Roger Cash,
Boardman, is no stranger to
community affairs. He has
served five years on the coun
ty's medical board; is a past
Lions Club president; and has
served on the Boardman City
Council for four years.
Cash and his wife, Kathy,
have two children, a grown
daughter, Shawna, who is a
former Morrow County Fair
and Rodeo princess, and a son,
Jason, who is a junior at River
side High School.
Cash's hobbies are hunting
and fishing; he also enjoys wat
ching his son's baseball team.
Cash is an employee at the PGE
coal fire plant; his wife is the
manager of the Boardman
Health Clinic.

tant. Applications will be ac
cepted through May 1.

Resources Department for a
change in point of diversion of
water from Rhea Creek as pro
vided by ORS 540.510 to
540.530.
Certificate 221, in the name of
Nunamaker Sheep and Land
Company, includes a right
limited to 0.26 cubic foot per se
cond from Rhea Creek, with a
priority date of 1904 for irriga
tion of 15.5 acres.
The point of diversion ap
propriation for this right is in
the Company Ditch.
The applicant proposes to
change the point of diversion to

R 25 E, WM; 850' North and
500' West from the center of
