True meaning o f Christmas

Christmas is the time of giv
ing and being with one
another. It just isn't getting
presents. You can give. I mean
like to a charity. It's time when
you go to church, when you're
with your family you can talk
about almost anything you
want, like how you have been.
Christmas time is one of the
best holidays to me because
you get to see family and go
sledding if there is snow.
The reason why we have
Christmas is because it's
Christ's birthday. We always
celebrate it on the 25th of
December. This year it's on a
Sunday so I go to church.
When it's Christmas we go to
church to celebrate Jesus' bir
thday. Last year we didn't go
on Christmas Eve like we
usually do. Now my mom
wants us to go to church on
Christmas.
The thing fun about
Christmas is that you get
presents, but that isn't the real
reason
why
we
have
Christmas. It's fun trying to
shake the presents and figure
out what they are. It's fun to
see what you got from
whomever. Little kids think it's
“ give me presents".
When Thanksgiving comes
and the day is over we wait un
til my dad is at work and we set
up the Christmas tree. Then we
try to find stuff to give away to
people, but I think the most fun
is when you put up the decora
tions. This year Colin and I put
them up at my house, but the
most fun is when Christmas
day comes and you have fami
ly and get to open gifts.
Merry Christmas and a Hap
py New Year.
Christmas means it is Jesus'
birthday and you should
celebrate it. You should also
love your neighbor as they love
you and treat them the same
way they treat you. I always go
to church on Christmas morn
ing or Christmas Eve. We also
give to charities. We celebrate
Advent and light the candles
and sing songs and stuff.
Always my brother has to ask
for presents and my mom says
it is four days until Christmas,
it can wait.
It also is the time to turn you
life in the right direction. You
should think about the giving
and not taking. I like to open
presents. They give them to me
because they think I am special.
Also, I think the meaning of
Christmas is that you get to
stay with your family and you
should love them for what they
do for you.
I always like to go to church
on Christmas because it is a
tradition for my family. It also
means that you should be
thankful you are alive. At
Christmas time I always think
what way my life is going and
where it will be in the end. I
always think about all this at
Christmas time.

Christmas is in honor of
Christ to remember the things
he did for us and his birthday.
We go to church that day to
celebrate.
A part of Christmas is about
presents. It's not just about get
ting presents, it's about giving
them too. The reason we get
and give presents is because
the three wise men gave Jesus
gifts and we carry on the tradi
tion. Christmas is a time to
remember all the good things
that happen.
We get trees on Christmas to
put our gifts under that we give
each other. I don't know what
it symbolizes. It's a part of the
thing that we do on Christmas.
Some people do not celebrate
Christmas because they don't
believe in God. They are call
ed pagans. Some people
celebrate Hanukkah. They are
called Jews. Every religion has
a different belief. I celebrate
Christmas because I am a
Catholic. I go to my grand
parents on Christmas. They
give us lots of gifts. They are
Catholics too. Christmas is a
time to be with your family and
celebrate together and be hap
py. We celebrate at school too
and give each other gifts. Merry
Christmas to every one.
To me Christmas means
sharing and loving. To me it
means to give and share your
presents with your family and
friends. It is when the wisemen
came to see Jesus. This special
holiday is the time to love each
other and care for each other.
Christmas is when you should
spend time with your family.
It is when you put up a tree
and you and your family put
up decorations. You build
snowmen and look at the stars.
Then there is when you give
other people presents and they
might give back. It is when
Santa comes and leaves gifts.
It's when you share your love
and fun with your family. My
favorite part of Christmas is
when I get to see my mom's
face when she opens her gift.
It's a nice feeling to see my
brother and dad's faces. I love
Christmas, it is my favorite
holiday. That is what
Christmas means to me. It
means charing, giving and lov
ing. That is why I love
Christmas so much. Christmas
is a lot more than gifts and
presents, it's sharing and
giving.
