Wed • Aug 10, 1994 • SEVEN Clowns return to Heppner Rodeo Clowns T.C. Evans and Mike Gothum will make t he ir first appearance at the Oregon Trail Pro Rodeo this year. However this will be their eco nd trip to Heppner after performing here during the St. Patrick ' s Bull Bus tin ' held thi Grain growers encouraged to enter crops in fair s pring. Evans hails from Parma, ldaho and is the barrelman of this c rowd-pleasing team. Bullfighter Gothum of Colville, Was hingto n and hi partner 1oined the PRCA ranks in 1993. Morrow County growers are encouraged to bring a sample of their cro p s in to the fair thi year for exh ibiton . Exhibits should be cleaned before s ubmitting them this year. All grain exhibits w ill be judged on unifo rmity, freedom fro m foreign material, sound- ness and on weight per bushel. Grasses and hay exhibits are welcome as well . Silage should be at least five pounds in a plastic bag. Grass exhibit size varies, depending on the intent of the lot. Alfalfa hay exhibits require three bales produced during the current year in the county . Grower are required to s ubmit core ample fro m the exhibit to be analyzed for m o isture and crude protein . Mo rrow County i o ne o f the tate's lead in g po tato pro- d ucer ; and it only take 10 pound of pud to make an ex- h ihit. Potato p roducers are e n- couraged to get their entries in to the fair also. Other possible commercial cro p entrie are field com, watermelons, cantaloupe. ap- ples, grapes, popcorn, berries, peas, beans, or any other crop raised in the county. Check the premium book for sample size, class and lo t number.
