Elizabeth A. Daggett
Funeral Mass for Elizabeth A.
“ Lib” Daggett was Thursday,
June 23 at St. Patrick Catholic
Church in Heppner. Private con­
cluding sendees followed.
Mrs. Daggett, 69 of Heppner,
died Monday, June 20, 1994, at
Pioneer Memorial Hospital in
Heppner.
She was born Sept. 20 1924 at
Heppner, to Patrick and Margaret
Lennon Healy. She grew up in
Heppner and attended local
schools, graduating from Hepp­
ner High School.
On Sept. 22, 1942, she married
Allen L. “ Jerry” Daggett at
Astoria. The couple lived in the
Dakotas and at Condon before
returning to Heppner in 1955.
Mrs. Daggett was secretary at
Heppner High School for 22
years. She was a member of the
Morrow County Museum Board
and of St. Patrick Catholic
Church.
Survivors include sons, Ken­
neth of Beaverton and Lee of
Portland;
daughter.
Kay
Hunkapillar of Pendleton; sisters,
Katherine Burchell of Corvallis,
and Patricia Gentry of Heppner;
brother, Frances Healy of
Pendleton; and four grand­
children. Her husband, Jerry and
a brother James Healy died
earlier.

Blazer Banner signed by team
members.
The banner was donated by the
Heppner High School Class of
1994 was raffled by People for
the Pool.
Judy Monahan of Condon won
a crocheted afghan and rug
crafted and donated by Nella Britt
of Heppner. Proceeds from both
raffles went to the swimming pool
fund.

A Bicycle Rodeo was held president George Naims said that
Tuesday night June 28 at Hepp­ they held the rodeo to teach bicy­
ner High School. The rodeo was cle safety and give kids an oppor­
tunity to purchase helmets at low
sponsored by the Parents Club.

June 21 : Morrow County depu­
ty investigated the theft of a tool
box in Irrigon;
Morrow County Sheriff s of­
fice dispatched the Condon am­
bulance to city hall for a woman
who had fallen. There was no
transport;
Morrow County Sheriff s of­
fice began investigation of a
stolen vehicle in Irrigon;
Morrow County Sheriff s of­
fice dispatched the Heppner am­
bulance to a site outside of lone
for a man trapped under some
machinery. One person was
transported via Air Life to St.
Mary’s Hospital in Walla Walla,
WA.;
Morrow County deputy began
investigation of a possible civil
matter in Irrigon;
Morrow County Sheriff s of­
fice dispatched the Heppner Fire
Dept to Pioneer Memorial
Hospital for a small grass fire;
Morrow County deputy in­
vestigated a report of suspicious
circumstances in Boardman;
Morrrow County deputy in­
vestigated a report of suspicious
circumstances in Irrigon;
Morrow County Sheriff s of­
fice dispatched the Boardman am­
bulance to Wilson Road Trailer
Court for a five year old boy who
grass and field fire;
Morrow County deputy
assisted Oregon State Police with
a disturbance at an Irrigon
residence.
June 26: Morrow County depu­
ty assited the Heppner Police
Dept with a family disturbance at
Mt. Glen Apartments;
Morrow County deputy
responded to the lone High
School for an audible alarm;
Morrow County Sheriffs of­
fice dispatched the rural Condon
Fire Dept, to a rekindle of an
earlier fire;
Morrow County Sheriff s of
-fice dispatched the Arlington
Fire Dept to a field fire southwest
o f Olex. Fire Dept, was
cancelled;
Morrow County deputy
assisted Oregon State Police with
a disturbance at an Irrigon
residence;
Morrow County deputy did a
welfare check on a residence in
Lexington;
Morrow County Sheriffs of­
fice dispatched the Lexington
EMT’s and Heppner ambulance
along with a deputy to a motor
vehicle accident on Hwy. 207,
mile post 10.5. Call was
unfounded;
Morrow County deputy in­
vestigated a report of suspicious
circumstances in Irrigon.
June 27: Morrow County depu­
ty responded to Paul Smith Road,
for a report of loud music;
Morrow County deputy began
investigations of a theft of tools
taken from Oregon Potato Inc.,
Boardman;
Morrow County Sheriff s of­
fice dispatched the rural Condon
Fire Dept, to the Rietmann
residence for a flare up of a field
fire that was going on Sunday.

Sandy on May 5, 1994 at
Portland Adventist Hospital. The
baby weighed 8 lbs. 7Vi oz.

The Human Services depart­
ment at Blue Mountain Com­
munity College is making
available a bilingual guide to
human resource services
available in Morrow and Umatilla
counties.
The human resource guide is
used as a reference tool by pro­
fessionals in the field. It is also

ladies purse that had been found;
Morrow County deputy
responded to the Irrigon Marina
area for a report of juveniles un­
supervised in the swimming area;
Morrow County Sheriff s of­
fice dispatched the Arlington Fire
Dept to a grass fire on Main
Street.
June 24: Morrow County depu­
ty responded to a business in Lex­
ington to investigate a break in;
Morrow County Sheriff s of­
fice dispatched the Arlington am­
bulance to a medical problem on
1-84, west bound, mile post 140,
reported by a person on a CB.
Ambulance was unable to locate
anything;
Morrow County deputy in­
vestigated a landlord/tennant pro­
blem in Lexington. The problem
was a civil matter;
Morrow County Sheriff s of­
fice dispatched the Boardman am­
bulance to Wilson Road for a 71
year old female with unknown
illness;
Morrow County Sheriff s of­
fice dispatched the Arlington am­
bulance to Pheasant Grill for an
elderly woman who had fallen.
She was transported to Hermistcn
Medical Center;
Morrow County deputy in­
vestigated a report of an abandon­
ed dog in Irrigon;
Morrow County deputy in­
vestigated a report of damage
done to a car in Irrigon.
June 25: Morrow County
Sheriff s office dispatched the
Arlington Fire Dept, to a car fire
on 1-84, mile post 123 west
bound. Fire was out upon arrival;
Morrow County Sheriff s of­
fice dispatched the Boardman
Fire Dept to a grass fire in Cir­
cle C Farms of Boardman. Fire
was out upon arrival;
Morrow County Sheriff s of­
fice dispatched the Boardman am­
bulance to a residence on Olson
and Wilson for a woman with
pain and vomiting;
Morrow County Sheriff s of­
fice dispatched the Arlington Fire
Dept to Rattlesnake Road for a
