Reckless to break up health care
To the Editor:
In today’s climate of health
care reform even the largest pro
viders in the medical field are
merging to insure reimbursement
consideration from Medicare and
Medicaid. It would be reckless at
this crucial time for Morrow
County residents to break up their
health care system.
It has already been proven that
it is easy for insurance companies
and government bureaucracies to
ignore the needs and refuse ade
quate support for separate
facilities; but it is much more dif
ficult to ignore a unified coun
ty wide system.
If you are interested in main
taining health care in any part of
the county please come to the
hearing at Irrigon’s Columbia
Junior High June 22 at 7 p.m.
