Plocharsky — Stefani
Janet Plocharsky and Dennis Stefani, both of Tigard, were mar­
ried in a double-ring ceremony June 19, 1993 at Valby Lutheran
Church in lone. Pastor Stan Hoobing of Heppner officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Warren and Irene Plocharsky of Hepp­
ner. Stefani is the son of Dorothy Stefani of lone and the late Arthur
Stefani.
Maid of honor was Shelly Rietmann of lone. Bridesmaids were
Carolyn Stelling of Tacoma, WA„ sister of the bride; Kam Bartlett
of Portland; Sandra Hoffert of Condon; Cindi Stinson of Palm Desert,
CA.; and Dawna Doherty of Heppner.
Best man was Gregg Rietmann of lone. Groomsmen were Leland
White of Spokane, WA; Scott Martin of Sacramento, CA.; Randy
St. Marie of Portland; Darrin Padberg of lone and Mike Conklin
of Island of Maui. HI. Junior groomsman was Zach Turner of
Portland, nephew of the groom.
Flower girl was Kyla Stelling of Tacoma. WA., niece of the bride.
Ring bearer was Tyler Fetterhoff of Pendleton, nephew of the groom.
Candlelighter was Jessica Stefani of lone, niece of the groom.
Soloist was Billy Truuel of Los Angeles, CA., organist was Carley
Drake of Heppner.
A reception at the American Legion Hall in lone followed the
ceremony.
The bride graduated from Heppner High School and attended
Oregon State University in Corvallis. She is employed by the U.S.
Forest Service, Portland.
The groom graduated from lone High School and attended the
University of Oregon, Eugene. He is employed by Northwest Pipe
and Casing in Portland.
After a wedding trip to the Oregon Coast the couple are at home
in Tigard.

Lisanne Crowley and Stephen Currin, Heppner were married May
1, 1993 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Butte Montana. Father Kevin
O ’Neil officiated.
Stephen is the son of Ron and Judy Currin, Heppner. Lisanne's
parents are Dennis and Beverly Crowley, Silver Bow, Montana.
The bride wore a traditional white wedding gown with a train.
Matron of Honor was Mary Ann Toohey, Bozeman. Montana.
Bridesmaids were Jennifer Currin, sister of the groom, Heppner;
Amber Mapston, Arlee, Mt.; Barbie Dudden and Deana Bertrand,
both Butte, and Rayna Prewitt, Sidney,Mt.
Best man was Clint Pierce, California. Groomsmen and ushers were
Tony Currin and Ron Currin, both Heppner, brothers of the groom;
Dennis Crowley, Butte, brother of the bride; Marty Britt and Scott
English, both Hermiston.
Flower girl was Linsay Ronning and ring bearer was Jeffery Cur­
rin, cousin of the groom.
A reception and dance were held following the ceremony at the
Montana Tech Ballroom at Butte.
Rita. Carrie, Callie and Melissa Ronning served cake and
beverages.
The bride graduated from Montana State University with a
bachelor’s degree in accounting. She is employed as the Morrow
County accountant.
The groom graduated from Heppner High School and Montana
State University with a bachelor's degree in business. He is employed
at the Currin Brothers Ranch.
Following a wedding cruise to the Bahamas and a four-day stay
at Disney World in Florida the couple are living in Heppner.
Animal nutrition clinic planned

The Morrow County Livestock
Growers have planned an animal
nutrition clinic on Thursday, Ju­
ly 22 at the Morrow County
Fairgrounds. Dinner, hosted by
the Anipro Feed Company, will
be at 5 p.m. with the program to
follow at 6.
The program will include the
follow ing
speakers:
Bill
Broderick, OSU livestock agent,
who will speak on body condition
scores; Mike Mehrens, Ph.D.,
nutrition consultant, on basic
nutrition and cow nutrition as it
relates to calf scours; and Wes
Klett, chief executive officer of
Anipro, on general nutrition.
Those planning to attend should

676-9642 by Friday, July 16 in­
dicating the number in their par­
ty. The office has an answering
machine, so those interested may
call at any time.
The turnout at this clinic will
determine if other clinics will be
held at this time of year in the
future. “ This is a very timely
topic,” said Broderick. “ Because
if you have a problem, there is
time to correct it before calving.
If we do the same program late
in the fall, there isn’t time to cor­
rect any problems before calv­
ing.”

Jana Janita Marquardt and John Nicholas Julian were married in
a double ring ceremony on March 20, 1993 at the First Christian
Church in Heppner. Pastor Roger Scharen officiated the ceremony
which was held in front of a large white decorated heart made by
the bride’s maternal grandfather Truman Messenger, Lexington, and
used first by her cousin Billee June Marquardt Owen at her wed­
ding, and by all of the bride’s sisters.
The bride, given in marriage by her mother, wore a satin wed­
ding dress made by the late Leita Messenger, grandmother of the
bride, and was first worn by the bride’s mother and most of her sisters.
The skirt and yoke were gathered up with lace inserts and caught
by Swingtime white roses, edged in pink, which matched the bridal
bouquet and boutonnieres.
Matron of honor for her sister was Pam Piper, Heppner.
Bridesmaids were Debbie Miller, Lexington, sister of the bride;
MarLyn Julian, Fresno, CA., sister of the groom: Joni Jundt,
Portland, and Holli Messenger, Aloha, both cousins of the bride. .
The street length dresses were all coordinated in peach and mint green
floral prints. Most of the dresses were made by Pam Piper and Joyce
Hughes, sisters of the bride.
Flower girl was Tiffany Piper. Heppner, niece of the bride and
ring bearers were Carl Miller and Robbie Smith, Lexington, nephews
of the bride. The flower girl’s basket and ring bearer’s heart pillows
and the girls' hair bows were all crocheted by the bride’s mother.
The groom wore a gray tuxedo with tails and a white shirt.
Best man for his brother was Justin Julian, Fresno, CA. Groomsmen
were Rey Phillips, Colorado Springs, CO., and Andy Naylor, Chico,
CA. both friends of the groom and Ray Miller and Bob Smith, both
Lexington, both brothers-in-law of the bride. They wore tuxedos with
jackets and no tails with green and peach bow ties and cummerbunds.
Candle Lighters were Trent Hughes, Lexington. Melissa Grace.
Honolulu, HI, and Kevin and Kasia Bloodsworth, Hermiston, all
nieces and nephews of the bride.
Other members of the wedding party included Kathryn Hoskins,
organist; Douglas Marquardt, cousin of the bride, pianist; Noritaand
Philip Marquardt, cousins of the bride, vocalists; and a cousins chorus
made up of the brides nieces and nephews Jaclynn Hughes and David
Piper, both of Heppner; Kevin, Kasia. Kent and Kristi Bloodsworth
of Hermiston; Stephanie Grace, Honolulu, HI: Mindy and Tammy
Smith, Roxy and Kyle Miller, all of Lexington.
Attending the guest book was Michelle Fleskes. Boring, cousin
of the bride.
A reception with a buffet was held in the church basement follow­
ing the ceremony. The cake was made by the bride's cousin Lois
Connor of Heppner and featured stairs with a bridal party and a foun­
tain underneath. Serving the cake were the bride’s sisters Carlita
Bloodsworth, Hermiston; Lolita Grace, Honolulu, HI and Sheree
Smith, Lexington. The buffet was organized by Joyce Hughes.
The bride is a graduate of Interfaith School and Cosmopolitan In­
stitute of Travel. She is employed with Horizon Airlines. Her parents
are Betty Marquardt and the late Carl Marquardt.
The groom is a graduate of Clovis West High School, Fresno. CA.
and is in his third year at Portland State University studying engineer­
ing. His parents are John G. and Leslie Julian of Fresno, CA.
Following a wedding trip cruise on the Norwegian Cruise Lines,
stopping in Catalina Island. San Diego and Mexico the couple are
living in Portland.
