Letter to the Citizens of
Morrow County
Pacific Gas Transmission (PGT) is pleased to inform you that repairs
to Morrow County roads damaged by this past winter’s construction
of our natural gas pipeline in the county will begin in late June.
The first road repairs will take place on six miles of Baseline road
located in the central county area. This work is scheduled to begin
on June 29. Contracts are currently being prepared and will be award
ed for other road repairs identified by the county and PG T. R epairs
on county roads will occur concurrently to expedite the com pletion
of this work and minimize inconvenience to the citizens of Morrow
County and harvesting operations. Portions of the repair (such as
that slated for Baseline Road) require extensive rebuilding of the roe
surface, in other locations minor filling and patching will be performed
to return the roads to pre-pipeline construction conditions.
Deteriorated road conditions may be especially troublesome in
locations awaiting repair. To handle such situations, we are prepar
ing with assistance from the county, a capability to respond with
emergency repairs to alleviate these situations until the
can be performed. W e will publish a notice with the inform ation you
will need to notify us within the week.
