A natural resource tour of
Western and Central Oregon is
scheduled for June 16-20, 1993.
It is intended for 4-H leaders and
youth in grades six through 12.
Participants will learn about
wetland ecology, marine biology,
forest resources, entomology
(bugs), eastern Oregon geology,
desert ecology, and agricultural
science.
The tour will begin at the 4-H
center near Salem and take
travelers to Newport. Coos Bay.
Crater Lake. Bend, OMSI's Han­
cock Field Station, and the Sher­
man Agricultural Research Sta­
tion at Moro. The tour is ex­
pected to cost $75 to $100.
