To the Editor:
I plan to vote for Judge Peter
Fels for U m atilla-M orrow
District Court Judge in depart
ment 2. Judge Fels has proven
himself to be an intelligent, even-
tempered, and very hard working
judge. He is a man of creativity
and vision. Not only does Judge
Fels see the court system as a
place for justice, he views the
courts as a place to educate our
children.
Judge Fels goes into local
classrooms to teach young peo
ple about our legal system and he
invites classes into court to watch
and learn about the legal process.
The future success of our justice
system depends on how well we
teach our children to understand
and respect our laws and the role
of the courts. Judge Fels has
demonstrated leadership in pro
viding our youth with positive
learning experiences. Let’s vote
to retain Judge Peter Fels on May
19.
Sincerely,
(s) David O Conant-Norville,
